  1. They suck. That’s a major trait they share.
  2. Dec. 26, 1997 vs. the Cavs. My dad surprised me with the tickets on Christmas. It was a good first game to go to — Divac had a big game, Glen Rice was cooking like always and we beat the Shawn Kemp-led Cavs. The Hive was electric.
  3. Trubisky is a younger Teddy. Pass
  4. I used to go with my fraternity brothers to Buffalo Wild Wings in Tiger Town every Sunday to watch NFL games and Ziemba and Neil Caudle (one of Cam's backup QBs) used to sit at the table next to us every week. Ziemba never got hot wings -- always the lemon pepper
  5. Ones who popped into my head when I saw the thread: Iheanyi Uwaezuoke Jason Peter (read his book, it's fantastic) Nick Hayden Sione Fua Lee Ziemba Stefan LeFors Keary Colbert
  6. He's a super nice guy. He's also made 16 tackles for us. I forgot to put that in the OP.
  7. We don't know what his status is as far as returning, since he's a free agent, but let's all recognize the Carolina Panthers' longest-tenured active player. We acquired J.J. Jansen in 2009 and have never regretted it. He's been a model citizen in the Charlotte community, an excellent long snapper who's been voted to the Pro Bowl, and also a key cog in one of our wins this season after he downed a punt at the 1. He's also played in more games (192) than any Panther except John Kasay. Cheers to the only Panther player in his mid-30s...
  8. let's all welcome Van Brett Watkins to the Huddle
  9. TheSaltman, Mayor Qumiby, King Taharqa (who left after the Hornets returned, only to make a brief cameo as "Sandlapper" before getting banned)
  10. PFFL's out-in-left-field stats to discredit Cam's success were incredible. Points per yard, poo like that
  11. I've been on here nearly 12 years. Feel like many of the 2009-10 regulars have left
  12. I believe she's referring to female tv/print reporters who might've hit on TD, or TD told her he saw her making a move on someone
  13. he killed a man on purpose with his car
  14. Stew chimes in, too. So did TD's wife, Kelly, in the replies "Thotpockets" absolutely gonna be my fantasy football team name
  15. He must be living in the past, then. Bobcats haven't been around for seven years
  16. I don’t think I ever explained this and I really don’t owe it to anyone to do so but I’ve known the Grier’s for many years and it is possible that supporting someone can transcend their performance
  17. Idk. I endorsed the decision from the moment it was announced and it didn't surprise me, either. What did he have to prove? Pro Football Reference already ranks him ahead of guys like Urlacher as a Hall of Fame linebacker. What was he gonna do, sacrifice his body for two more middling-to-bad seasons for two more All-Pro nods to add to a career already more than enough for the Hall of Fame?
  18. Yeah, DeAngelo was incredible that year when armed with tackles who could adjust when he'd look for a cutback lane upon getting the handoff. As explosive as he was, I really preferred watching Stewart in his prime.
