  1. It would confirm a lot of what I've said about the coach. But it also wouldn't shock me one bit. Hoping the defense gets us a W.
  2. Typically, and this has been the case probably 8 of the last 10 seasons, whoever is predicted to finish with the worst record doesn't in fact do it. Other than the Browns a couple times, it's usually not the team everyone says will suck the most in August.
  3. Is he moving to Philly to cover Temple, the AA affiliate of the Bills?
  4. Most are behind paywalls, so it requires someone to access it first.
  5. She'll already know most of the players, so it won't be much of an adjustment other than the loganberry and beef on weck
  6. I definitely won’t be shocked if we’re picking first, but Sam Howell is going to have to do a lot more this season to prove he’s any better an option than the last Sam Howell (Mitch Trubisky)
  7. These "all is well" alts who just suddenly sprout up from out of nowhere are a hoot.
  8. Hey man, they're welcome to pull up on me. But they'll get responses!
  9. Blow me, I'm no less qualified than your ignorant homer ass.
  10. Does not take extensive research to notice a discrepancy, dude.
  11. “How dare he put people on the practice squad he’s familiar with” Yeah lol because they’re not NFL-caliber but some aren’t ready to face that reality
  12. He’s a poor man’s version of Marcus Vick, but his two relatives on here like to hype him up and I guess I understand that, despite the complete lack of evidence to back up any claim.
  13. He definitely thinks PJ is a better version of prime Mike Vick.
  14. That’s nothing, I have people’s alts log in just to do that to me. Random-ass names who never post or react to anything somehow search out what I say. fug it, they’re my Fan Club
  15. I’d have loved to see a Skyhawks game. I bet Gabriel would’ve loved to see them win, too (went 0-10 in 1991)
  16. The Tecklenburg signing makes me laugh. Dude was planning on retiring from football after college, but like Walker, he will he here as long as Rhule is here. And people hate reading that, but then they’ll be the first to whine “aww, we have no depth, how could this happen, how can we blame Ron and Hurney?” Probably because we’re a job bank before a football team. Many teams pattern themselves after the Patriots, Giants or Steelers. We pattern ourselves after a mid-major program with no successful history and to make things worse, we yanked the coaches and players from the 2015 Temple Owls — who didn’t even finish the season ranked in the Top 25. As for the “he does nothing every coach doesn’t do,” yeah other coaches bring in NFL guys and people from college powerhouses, they don’t shun better players to keep mid-major, semi-pro players they coached in college. Hell, Donald Trump could look at Rhule’s roster and if he weren’t illiterate, he’d probably say “Damn, now that’s some good nepotism!”
  17. Roman Gabriel? THE head coach of your Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks!?
  18. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with trying this guy out. We don’t have a guard entrenched at the position and this dude at least has NFL experience.
  19. He’d be out of the league if it weren’t for Rhule, but the homers will get mad people point it out because they’d rather live in blissful ignorance.
  20. I don't care about Saleh because he's not here. I think Rhule is a good dude who would be a lot of fun to have a beer with (provided it were brewed by a Temple alum), but there's nothing other than blind optimism and a love of Owls football that would have me optimistic about his tenure here. I want us to win games, no matter who the coach happens to be. I just don't think we'll win more than we'll lose with The Owl King. But I hope the dude proves me wrong this year.
