  1. I'm convinced that at this rate, Butker could be here and he'd have the same numbers as Olindo Mare
  2. Dude I don't want us to run McCaffrey in the ground anymore than anyone else, I'm just saying that when he's had a year of rest and no preseason action, Week 1 was the best time to give him 30 touches (especially with many of them not being between the tackles).
  3. It's almost like they're *whispers* not that different
  4. Apparently you two have no concept of the word "talent," which often dictates who gets the ball in important situations. You see, the goal of a football game is to win, which is achieved primarily through using a team's best players when the situations arise. "Winning" can be achieved by using multiple RBs, which I'd suggest in not giving CMC 30 touches every week, but resting a player on an important down because "the whole team duh" is a better option, is dumb as hell
  5. Let's try this a different way, then. All things Huddlers have said of the following players: Luke Kuechly - jumps on piles, racks up tackles but doesn't do much Cam Newton - inaccurate passer, not a real leader, doesn't win in the clutch Brian Burns - gets to the QB but can't sack him Christian McCaffrey - we don't win when he plays, goes down too easily
  6. He only has to be a WR3. He did that just fine.
  7. We made a bad trade, but we've got time to fix it. If we don't, it'll sure reek of Hurney in keeping someone unqualified just because we can (P.J. Walker, Sam Tecklenburg, etc.)
  8. You know a player is a superstar when he has haters in his own team's fanbase. Luke had them, Cam had plenty.
  9. Chud was similar but due to opposite reasons: he’d go deep every damn down.
  10. CMC was *this* close to 100 yards rushing, but 30 touches for 187 yards is an excellent day.
  11. It’s only one game, but I thought he did a really good job. He was calm in the pocket and delivered several pinpoint throws in traffic.
  12. A win’s a win. I’ll take it! The defense bent, but never broke. Shoutout to them and the offense for doing just enough.
  13. 1-16 would be far more likely if we can’t win tomorrow.
  14. It would confirm a lot of what I've said about the coach. But it also wouldn't shock me one bit. Hoping the defense gets us a W.
  15. Typically, and this has been the case probably 8 of the last 10 seasons, whoever is predicted to finish with the worst record doesn't in fact do it. Other than the Browns a couple times, it's usually not the team everyone says will suck the most in August.
  16. Is he moving to Philly to cover Temple, the AA affiliate of the Bills?
  17. Most are behind paywalls, so it requires someone to access it first.
  18. She'll already know most of the players, so it won't be much of an adjustment other than the loganberry and beef on weck
