  1. The good ones will sign with good teams. The substandard backups chasing a check will Elflein their way here.
  2. I have to say that between hard-working, accomplished guys like Premier League champion/resident ambassador Christian Fuchs (in many ways, the Greg Olsen or Thomas Davis of Charlotte FC) as well as promising youngsters like No. 1 overall pick Ben Bender and hometown hero Jaylin Lindsey, this team is pretty likable. Now, score a damn goal this weekend!
  3. Pretty much this, but Kahlina had a great night in goal. And the atmosphere was fantastic.
  4. Walk into a Porta-Jon, look down and take a picture. That's what Panthers draft day will look like.
  5. I actually see Matt Rhule taking a guy who will never be ready at #6.
  6. It's amazing how simply being polite is now politicized and shunned by certain groups of people.
  7. He's peaked. He's not a top-12 coach in the East. Cut bait or continue to live with 35-47 every year.
  8. Joe Person is not only a better journalist than Rhule is a coach, he’s probably a better coach as well.
  9. They've already listed all the NFL teams that will play overseas this year, so that leaves only the second-best Panthers in pro football.
  10. This also tells me the Panthers have more than one bad tight end, but it's not like tight ends are the end-all, be-all anyway. Plenty of bad coaches, quarterbacks, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs as well.
  11. It's also worth noting there's no guarantee Thomas sees the field. Don't put it past Matt Rhule to draft a tight end from Baylor, or a defensive end from Baylor, and move him to TE, cut Thomas and eat the cap.
  12. It'd probably help if Krneta woke up and signed a couple more DPs. I'm interested to see how this current squad's payroll matches up against others in MLS.
  13. Do those take into account blocking, or are they just receptions/catch percentage/yards/TDs?
  14. Suck City. Charlotte can lay claim to the: - worst team in the NFL - worst team in MLS - 8th-worst team in the NBA
  15. Christ. Well, at least right now, the MLS record for most goals allowed is 8 and largest victory margin is 7. We’re likely putting both of those to the test when Vela and LA Galaxy come to town.
  16. Keep in mind we’re doing this without Karol Swiderski and Anton Walkes, both of whom should be available next weekend.
  17. Proud of the effort. No complaints from me. Bad luck and typical Charlotte refereeing across all sports. Nothing will ever change there, but we’ve played better than I expected.
