  1. 16-39 passing (41%) for 252 yards, TD = 71.7 Rating 22-31 passing (71%) for 222 yards = 91.0 Rating Which player performed better?
  2. P.J. Walker is flat-out not an NFL-tier quarterback. Cool that he got a win against a team that scored 0 points on Matt Rhule, but it's the fact. Grier's a QB3, maybe a QB2 if he improves some more. Haven't heard much but what I saw was that he's done well in Dallas' camp.
  3. Walker completed like 37% of his passes. If you switched his stats with Grier's, they'd say Walker did better. Irrational hate is irrational hate.
  4. Just mute his dumb ass. Replaced Dr. Lunker as the resident moron in here.
  5. Considering I've been married for years, y'all need to understand and appreciate sarcasm when it is presented. It's not as much fun when you gotta explain the joke is a joke.
  6. In all seriousness, there's almost nothing he can do to get fired this season or next. Record doesn't matter.
  7. "Mental reps" are just another made-up thing, no different than "moral victories" or "the female orgasm."
  8. Rhule: Accepting a job at a college I don't like Tepper: Selling the team to someone who actually wants to keep it in the Carolinas and is a competent owner
  9. I liked the OG thread title. I always know what to expect with the OP, and that's a good thing
  10. I don't think I have ever even tried on a pair of Crocs.
  11. Every other team's forum should have a "It could be worse...look at the Carolina Panthers" post somewhere. Doing this all the time tempts fate.
  12. 2002 is the only real preseason QB competition. Others may have been sold as such, but there was real discussion as to whether Peete could beat out Weinke, how much of '01 was actually on Weinke vs. how much wasn't, and what role a rookie QB in Fasani could end up playing (answer: none)
  13. I get that, but I'm not very optimistic that Bouknight will turn out to be someone who'll make you forget Cody Martin. He's probably destined to be an eighth-man microwave to use when you're down 12 and he'll either shoot you back into it, or build the deficit to 25.
  14. Mad respect if he could say that with a straight face
  15. Cody Martin and James Bouknight are polar opposites as players. Martin doesn't have explosiveness, nor the lateral quickness and shot-creating ability Bouknight has, but Bouknight possesses 0% of Martin's defensive intensity, desire and ability to close out on wings. Having one does not preclude a team from having both. If Bouknight will ever consider trying on defense, he'll be in a far better spot. Playing players based on draft position is not the smartest thing, unless you want to field a college team in the NBA who'll bite and foul on every pump fake, get beat backdoor like nobody's business, and take 65 stepback threes every game. You do, in fact, need people who play defense, like Martin and Mark Williams.
  16. I’m hoping the plan is to stop drafting high-volume, undersized 2-guards who won’t play defense, honestly.
  17. In this case the Hornets let Bouknight 1.0 walk in FA so Bouknight 2.0 could do the same things.
