  1. Schools are starting to close in NC. Not public ones yet as far as i know.
  2. Got one of these when we remodeled the mancave bathroom. It is life changing. Every toilet should have a bidet. It is so much better than TP. And your standard toilet is so uncomfortable once you sit in this. If you can afford it please get one. You can get it much cheaper on amazon. https://www.us.kohler.com/us/veil-comfort-height-intelligent-skirted-one-piece-elongated-dual-flush-toilet/productDetail/toilets/1589221.htm?brandId=927333&skuId=1589180
  3. Or commute in from South Jersey.
  4. USA is an individualistic country. Countries that have a greater sense of community and the greater good seem to fare better. Often socialist to some degree. So countries say- that's it, everyone get tested, don't go to work and if you need money for food and lodging we got you. And the people say, alright then. And it blows over more quickly. Our approach is much different. and way worse. This isn't advocating socialism.
  5. Th incubation period can be two weeks before symptoms.

  7. The death rate, better known as mortality rate, is defined as deaths/cases. Deaths is pretty hard to miss. May miss a handful but when you die the coroner figures out what killed you. Cases can only be accurately defined with widespread testing. Either everyone or everyone with symptoms. The US has been refusing to test people unless they came back from a danger area such as China. The mortality rate in the US was close to 5% a few days ago. In South Korea where they do extensive testing it is .6%. South Korea administers like 150 times as many tests per capita than we do. So no.
  8. We don't know yet. It varies widely country by country as they take different strategies. US in particular is not widely testing so we don't know the denominator of the rate.

  10. Yes it is mild for some people. It is also excruciating for others. And we don't know the mortality rate. Terrible take.
  11. So what are you traders doing? Moving money into equities, out of equities? Trying to time the market? I am adding equities every time the Dow loses 5% so i have added positions 4 times. I can do this for a while but a 2008 type correction would not be fun. We lost more today that my first job in corporate america paid me annually.
  12. Our two "major" signings so far have been guys coming off pretty bad years. Are we going to fix them or is this wasted money?
  13. Seems like a signing with tons of downside potential. I worry that this is our new starting lineman and Gettleman has used this signing to ignore OT in the draft and FA. There has to be better answers than this. And while I assume we are giving up very little money, if for some reason we gave him anything lucrative this would be disastrous. I don't buy that he is going to return to starter quality under Matsko with a new toe but nothing would make me happier if he did.
  14. I've been outside the inner circle before. As the guy who had to deliver bad news I never expected upper management to have my back when I needed it or for that matter come to my funeral. When I had to fly my kid out of country because of a medical issue and he nearly died I did get flowers and one partner emailed me. The head partner never said a word despite being the guy that everyone loves. And i didn't care a lick because they paid well, completely left me alone to do my job and gave me great experience. SO when my contract was up I said thank you very much, took my contract bonues and never said a negative word. So my advice to Deangelo would be to gain some self awareness. JR and your teammates probably had a good reason they didn't show up. Figure out why. Having said that I think many of us are confused that JR wouldn't show up because of how mice and compassionate he is. JR is a hardnosed businessman who can be mean as a snake and has come off as a bumbling idiot at times. I have heard it from some of his family and people who grew up with him. Which is fine. People don't get to where they are by being nice all the time. He is probably not surprised that Deangelo did this and probably doesn't care.
  15. Hilarious. I recently got piled on for suggesting the Panthers and Hardy were negotating this summer (as reported by both sides). Unfortunately this contradicted some opinion piece of Voth.
  16. Well I can't argue against Voth apparently. Seems airtight. You win again.
  17. I never saw any sources cited. GFY
  18. No it's just funny that you are demanding specific inside sources and meeting details to rebut some quip by a journalist who provides no sources or basis or evidence. 9 months later. It's an opinion piece. You blowing this Voth guy or something lol?
