Yeah, I think we are doing what we can do. I do think we have more points if Dalton is playing.

I mean, this is so obvious of a take. We really, really, REALLY have some dumb fans. Lol.

I missed that. fug.

If you wanted Danny Dimes here’s the chance

I mean, he probably wouldn't look nearly as bad there. Still wouldn't likely be good. -
Wait....what??? Healthy scratch????
-
Have you looked at this roster?
-
They are more exploitable through the air than on the ground. That's the problem. Not sure if you have been noticing but the interior of our OL is getting blown up more frequently than usual.
-
The tackling on this drive. Wow.
-
I mean that holding was obvious.
-
The under was such an easy call, IMO.
-
You can really tell how little people have watched KC. This is literally almost every game for them. They are very sloppy and inefficient offensively.
-
They don't blow anyone out. Literally. They also stink in the red zone. Have all year.
-
This is tired and dumb.
-
For the "THEY ARE GONNA BLOW US OUT!!!" people.....how many actual KC games have you actually watched this season?

The Ravens would be a great place for him too. Zero pressure. -

Brother, if you watch Daniel Jones play football and think to yourself, "Man, that's Cam Newton!" I mean....what really more is there to say? We are not on the same wavelength with this take. At all. -

Ah, the ol Cam Newton hating. I will give you credit, the week of pretending to be a Daniel Jones super fan is a very clever way to disguise your hatred of Cam. -

Who is thinking, "We are good with Bryce" that has a functional brain? Jones is also clearly a broken toy. We don't do well with broken toys. -

Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO. -
We finally get to see Brooks this week

I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either. I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with. -

I know, if you look at how he played in LA vs. Det. , it hasn't changed much at all. Frankly, had nothing changed and Matt Stafford is still there, I am not sure they don't already have a trophy in Detroit. Goff gets way too much credit in Detroit for turning them around. QB was never the problem with Stafford. The team and coaching had to get better and they finally did. Agreed on Goff. Give me Matt Ryan or Kirk Cousins or fuging Dak Prescott. I can deal with an upper tier guy that you question if he can ever break through to a SB. It's a damn sight better than watching a QB that you wonder if he is going to be in the NFL in 2-3 seasons. -
Serious Thoughts Fellas What numbers would Bryce..

Unfortunately, 23 games into his career we have yet to see that happen. IMO, there is nothing else to see. I cannot recall a first round QB ever looking this bad and then subsequently recovering to have an even NFL average starting QB career. He is very clearly a backup caliber QB at his extreme ceiling. We were wrong. A lot of people ended up being wrong. It just is what it is. -

And it remains to be seen if Goff has that ability or not. Plenty of very good QB's like Goff were not able to get over those playoff humps. Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins, etc. You can still be an upper tier QB and never get over that hurdle. McVay just thought(and hasn't been wrong yet) Goff was never going to be that guy. -

You literally simply have to think logically for either of those guys. Smith is locked up on a deal for 2025, so we would have to trade for him or he gets cut. Neither of those scenarios are likely in the first place. Wilson will be 37 in 2025. Why on earth would he have any interest in a situation that is far worse than he was given in Denver and wasn't able to win there? He's a guy that can drop into any ready to win franchise in the NFL and immediately elevate their chances of winning(provided they already have QB issues). Frankly, that is either speculation that even David Newton should be embarrassed by or it shows how disconnected with reality some people in our organization are. I do agree with him on getting a veteran QB, however. That's our best chance to keep developing our talent.
