  1. Well Belichick did start his NFL career with a 41-55 record in his first six seasons. Maybe by the end of Rhule's career he'll figure out how to cheat properly as well! I will say this, if we do become the Pats, I FOR SURE want to face them in the Super Bowl to cheat them out of a victory. It's only fair.
  2. Meanwhile, Browns fans are like......
  3. The further in the rearview the Whitworth thing is, the larger it is. We'll never know if we were ever an option or if we ever contacted him, but the Whitworth vs. Kalil comparison is one for the ages. A HOF caliber player vs. one of the biggest busts in franchise history.
  4. It was a Twatter post so he was undoubtedly getting trolled and it was clearly successful. Zero idea why people still use Twatter.
  5. Play like an NFL QB. Darnold has rarely ever played like an NFL QB and PJ has never played like one. The odds of either of those happening are lottery-esque.
  6. I agree with this take, actually. If nothing else, it will show the owner that our coaches have zero idea what a good QB looks like.
  7. The roster was not bad, actually. It was that most of those players had basically given up on the team and were just playing for themselves, because they knew this was the end of the coaching staff. They were basically auditioning for jobs elsewhere with the latter half of that season.
  8. I don't really care. The fact that he is butthurt over comments from the peanut gallery just means he is spending too much time listening to them. Maybe don't do that. If I were in his position, I certainly wouldn't except to get a good laugh.
  9. Damn. Shots fired! I assume he was talking about Brady or Rhule?
  10. Other than the obvious small market team factors, the fact that have been a bad franchise is an obvious one(no winning seasons since 2017). We also have an EXTREMELY inexperienced and possibly ill-suited coaching staff. That is not going to get win-focused veterans on board, most likely. We also don't have a lot of elite talent here(mostly young talent). Great players want to be surrounded by other great players, because it helps them win more easily. Right now, we are probably most likely a team that is looking at being a destination for big name/elite free agents looking for a paycheck. That's not the place you want to be. But, winning will cure all that. If we build a winning team, better players will want to come here.
  11. PJ out Darnold's Darnold in most shitty categories. However, he is very decisive with the ball, which Darnold is not. I just wish those quicker decisions weren't so goddamn bad.
  12. It would be nice to get him back in time to not catch passes while we are running the ball 70 times.
  13. Yeah, if he is upset about Mayfield, imagine how livid he would be about Darnold.
  14. Pretty sure Marshall is still out, so I doubt you see that.
  15. Elflein is maybe the 4th best guard on our roster.
  16. They both suck. PJ is a little more fun to watch suck but he still sucks.
  17. I would cream my jeans over that load distribution. Pun intended.
  18. It's just random talk. None of our organization is smart enough to have a plan beyond Darnold and PJ Walker, otherwise they would have been here already.
  19. He would absolutely not want to come back here. We would absolutely not want him back here. The former I can understand, the latter I can't.
  20. Eh....not sure that Plunkett still wouldn't be considered a bust. He got two rings but they were on great teams. He was rarely the reason teams won. Reference his career .500 record and only 4 winning seasons of 15. How often was he considered an elite QB after being the #1 overall draft pick. He stuck around a while but there isn't much argument for him being anything but a bust other than the two rings. Gonna day not a great example because he still really didn't pan out.
