  1. 12 and 14 are a bit out to lunch if you ask me. Taking a rookie that high??? Yowzer. Risky.
  2. Even if it isn't top 10, there is absolutely zero justification for it being outside the top 15.
  3. Was just about to post this. This authors lists are highly suspect, IMO. I am definitely not buying we are worse at QB than the Seahawks. Unless Milroe turns out to be a stud. Highly disrespectful for our RB group to be 28th. That's insane. OL at 19, I feel the same way. We should easily be in the top 15. IDL at 14 is probably a little high, TBH. DB is doing a lot of the heavy lifting there. CB at 16 is debateable. Easily could be lower. More so due to the question marks. S at 27 feels like we are getting very little credit for signing Moehrig. Now, it is a pretty awful in terms of depth.
  4. If this line did exist, Renfrow at +21,000 MIGHT be worth $1. You gotta think there are SOOOO many factors against us even if it has absolutely nothing to do with Renfrow.
  5. Ray Lewis did this later in his career too. It's surprising how much boxing can improve cardio. If you want a very small window into that. Put your hands up in a traditional boxing defensive stance and do that for 12 - 3 minute rounds.
  6. Yeah, no one should hate this guy. He seems like quite the character. I am sure he is very fun.
  7. Doomers and Sunshiners.....chill. We got 17 games to dissect this.
  8. Yeah, never take much out of practice or preseason. Just hope you come out the back end healthy and ready to play when it actually matters.
  9. I think we just fundamentally disagree on where he is at career wise. It was a pretty rough first year and we are in the golden age of rookie WR's showing out. To be sure he had difficulties to deal with outside his control but he still looks extremely unpolished. I am a glass half empty guy on XL and you are a glass half full guy. Hopefully we are on the same page in the 2026 offseason and it's the glass just being full.
  10. Oh yeah, I 100% agree. The bad drafts are what digs the hole deeper and deeper every offseason. It took a lot of work to get down to where we are. Amazing really.
  11. I think we will end up starting him. I don't think A'Shawn Robinson was bad last year but he also wasn't very good. And we invested heavily into Wharton. It would make so little sense for him not to be a starter.
  12. That's true in theory but poor management can lead to very long stretches of poor results. The system itself IS indeed set up to have parity and allow some level of fairness in building a team. But, history has proven time and time again that it is possible to be so inept you screw that up. That's really at the back of most Panthers fans minds. Are we one of those teams now? It's not looking great.
  13. I think Daboll's career success will prove to be a result of being with Josh Allen and the Bills rather than vice versa.
  14. His defense in year one was a bit of a paper tiger in some respects but the talent drop off in year two was bananas. He has to recover significantly from last year to survive, IMO. And, TBH, it's not gonna be with tremendously more talent. It's a tough spot. I do think he is as equally to blame as the FO.
  15. I mean.....there is no question that is 100% on the players. That's fuging pathetic.
  16. I mean, if we get demonstrably better, I can see possibly staying the course. But even with a piss poor defensive roster, we need to dramatically improve for me to want to see more of the Evero Experience. There is only so much blaming the roster and injuries anyone is going to tolerate if we are consistently fielding bottom 5-10 units.
  17. It's true. For all his faults, JR was a much better owner than Tepper in terms of cobbling together an averageish or successful team. We all thought Tepper would perhaps break the streak of all this average play mixed with good/great seasons. Mission Accomplished: We haven't seen either since.
  18. Well, even if the odds are low, it isn't like he is gonna bump a quality player off the roster at that spot.
  19. Basically this. If we could contain it simply to Rhule, that would be great but it has stretched 4 GM's(Hurney, Rhule, Fitterer, Morgan) and 4 HC's(Rivera, Rhule, Reich, DC).
  20. That's what teams that develop rosters properly do. You don't end up with the worst roster in the NFL accidentally.
  21. Technically it is a future/development ranking.
  22. Actually, there is no argument that Jerry isn't better. The Cowboys have only had 10 seasons under .500 in his 35 years of ownership. He has literally had as many .500 or better winning seasons as an owner as the Panthers do years of existence as a franchise. Tepper literally took the reigns of a team that was in the midst of it's historical highpoint(2015-2017) and hasn't sniffed .500 since. For all Jerry's faults, he builds winning teams. David Tepper consistently has built dumpster fire teams.
