I was, actually. Very, very against it initially because I was so upset about Sewell and then we passed on Slater and Fields. I also thought Surtain was a better CB. I warmed up to the pick closer to camp when I saw some more stuff on Horn and how motivated he was.

I am not super, super, super anti-QB at 6 but I think it's a far riskier gamble than necessary.

It is possible we just don't have a suitor for a trade back. The obvious choices are the teams with two first rounders, as they will be the easiest to pry away. Then you have the fact that this is a weak QB draft, which usually drives up trade prices and possibilities. We will see what happens. If we couldn't move our pick in last years draft with two QB's on the board, I can't see us being able to this year. Either we are asking too much or the suitors are more patient.

Ekwonu also needs some technique some technique work. He can be aggressive to a fault in pass blocking(lunges at defender). I agree, though, the thing I love about him is that NASTY disposition. Reminds me of a more athletic Norwell.

Very pumped to see so many of the top 8 QB's at the event. Should give a bunch of early feedback on who is legit and who is a project.

I have it Neal, Ekwonu and Cross. Neal's upside is just insane and Ekwonu's floor seems very high(top flight LG if nothing else). Cross worries me a little because he seems to have a high bust factor. I do think it is possible he tumbles in the draft if he doesn't do well at the combine.
