    The league has a new crop of these gunslingers that aren't quite as erratic as the Favre's(or Winston's) of the world. Nothing wrong with being aggressive but that aggressive scale had a dumb end of it. Favre and Winston revved into the dumb end of the scale all too often in their careers.

    Furthermore, you are not calculating QBR correctly. You can't just "add them up and divide by X." That is not how QB Rating or QBR works.

    We'll need everyone on deck to beat them. I never thought I would say we are outmatched against an opponent we split with in the regular season. I hope they can at least give one more victory to the home fans before they exit.

    Well, let's not get too carried away too quickly. We have one data point that also includes Hurney(2020 draft class). This is basically the first Hurney-free draft we have had, so this one is the real test. And we won't know the results for at least 2-3 seasons.

    That's the thing, he doesn't need to be THE reason why we win, but he needs to be A reason why we win.

    It was the Cowboys. They warned Cowboys players about him and they went to the team front office and said they didn't want to play with him. Once three separate rosters had essentially said they didn't want him around, his future in the NFL was nonexistent. Think about it this way, that didn't even happen to Terrell Owens.

    Mediocre covers all aspects of his play(production, results, situations, etc). If we win in spite of him, it's time to move on. That isn't successful unless you have a truly special team. If we win BECAUSE of him, then he is the guy.

    He isn't any different than any other first round bust QB. They typically get one more stop to prove it(even Rosen did) and then they are either journeyman backups or fast tracked out of the NFL.

    If he wants to return as a #2 for a #2 price, sure. I am down with that.

    Yeah, I think Moore has a better shot than Brown of making the team.

    I don't think mediocre is going to cut it. We just got rid of a mediocre QB.

    I don't know if there is an amount of games that necessarily gets him an extension. He needs to play well and conclusively show he is the future for us at the position.

    Cam more than lived up to his potential. He just didn't last long enough to stay an elite player. He was more successful overall than a guy like Luck(in terms of ultimate accomplishments). Yet another #1 overall pick whose career was shortened by injuries and lack of quality OL.

    The worst part was they won in spite of him. He was quite literally the worst starting QB in the NFL that season.
