The goalie situation simply has to be resolved. Everyone here knows that Raanta will not be able to be reliable in the playoffs when the intensity ratchets up a notch. Kotchetkov is a question mark in that regard. Perhaps he rises to the occasion and proves he is "the guy" moving forward. So if there is no hope of Anderson returning, hopefully we can get a trade deal worked out. I don't expect Rod to stick with Martin unless forced to, so we will lukely never know how good he is.

No. His trade value is probably fairly low. I would say ride it out and see if maybe he can turn it around. If he keeps getting banged up, try to get a late rounder next season or next offseason(depending on if we pick up his 4th year). The injury issue just really limits our options.
