  1. I am not sure we have enough data to skewer him too badly, other than the OL. If we see the same in the 2022 offseason, I think we will know what the score is.
  2. I have said repeatedly that I think he only shares so much of the blame. His guys are just not executing well at this point. He definitely isn't blameless but often the plays are sound and the players are just not making the plays.
  3. Actually, I think it really begins and ends in our front office. We don't really spend significant draft capital trying to build there historically. There is only so much dumpster diving you can do and be successful.
  4. Yeah, I mean perhaps that is true but he just isn't a guy I thought looked like he had much based on the Detroit game. He did okay versus a bad opponent and that was about it. He predominantly looked like an erratic gunslinger, which is what we have right now.
  5. Actually, if you look at OL DVOA and Adjusted Sack Rate, there have been 3-4 years since 2010 that have been worse than this year. That's actually the most upsetting part. Poor OL play isn't rare in Carolina
  6. Well, our OL is also a lot worse, as are the rushing efficiency stats since 2020. People also forget how good Davis was at replacing CMC when he went down. Passes to the RB are a big part of what helps our offense be successful and Hubbard hasn't help much in that regard. His catch percentage is very low for the type of routes he is running. So, while I agree we just have to start running the ball more, I don't think we are gonna see any type of dominant rushing attack. Not with the pieces we are working with. I think more than anything we are just seeing that there aren't a lot of really clear answers on that side of the ball. Brady shares plenty of the blame but the execution by our offensive personnel overall has been pretty poor across the board. We just aren't consistent at all.
  7. It's a plus, as long as they aren't ill advised decisions. Remember this is a guy that has 1 TD and 5 INT's in his career. That doesn't indicate he is going to be a substantial upgrade from Darnold. Quite the opposite. Even though this is Darnold's worst season of his career, his TO/possession rate is 3.6% in 2021. PJ Walker's career rate is 8.9%. That doesn't solve the problem we are having.
  8. We are averaging 57% passing plays this season compared to 57.4% last season. We definitely are a pass heavy offense as a whole. The only reason that is going to change is that our passing offense is responsible for turning the ball over too much. Last year our QB was responsible for 6 TO's(out of 7 total) through 6 games, this is year it is 9 TO's(out of 10 total). Darnold has actually decreased his TO's every season in the NFL until now. He is on pace for a staggering 25.5 TO's in 2021. His previous high was his rookie season with 17 total.
  9. And yet nothing has changed, regardless of the attempt to develop him. You can only blame Gase and the Jets so long. At this point, it does appear the bulk of Darnold's problems were his own.
  10. fug them both. I didn't forget 2015 and 2016. I hope Denver never wins another fuging game.
  11. Oh Darnold is a fuging disaster. Unfortunately, it is sort of the disaster we feared he would be. That's the worst part.
  12. So, we basically need to hire Shurmur to evaluate QB's for us. Any dude he really wants, we immediately avoid. He doesn't like them, that's our guy.
  13. Yeah, he doesn't seem like a guy that is going to tolerate failure very well.
  14. Yeah, I am all on board for a solid journeyman veteran QB while we attempt to draft someone. #TyrodTaylor2022
  15. If that is still happening in five years, we are the actual Cleveland Browns.
  16. Imagine getting dunked on by Case Keenum like this. Also.....he available?
  17. That's about right. Hopefully in five years we can all laugh at how bad our 2020-2021 QB situations are with our new franchise QB.
  18. That Frankenstein of a QB would cost us an obscene amount of money in combined salaries.
  19. Not sure I would consider Brandin Cooks one of the best in football. He's a good WR. If we lose, I suspect it will be because we keep turning the ball over.
  20. I'm not sure what team you have been watching but we have only allowed two 100 yard receivers in six games.
  21. Agreed. No more reclamation projects on the OL either or overpaying dumpster journeymen. I don't give a fug about versatility in someone you want to start. Be good at one thing.
