  1. This is literally a completely absurd take and I consider myself pretty middle of the road on the whole Watson issue.
  2. Once he signs that second contract(literally probably the day of), he'll be a surefire jersey purchase.
  3. I don't think you say what Rhule said, have guys likely to miss the game(which we do) and then play him. Doesn't matter if we agree or not, I just think he basically gave us all an indication that he isn't keen to put him out there in the preseason without absolutely pristine conditions for him. Which.....having a lot of this OL is about as far from pristine as I can imagine but I'm not Matt Rhule.
  4. 0-0, 0 yards, 0 TD's, 0 INT's. He doesn't end up playing.
  5. Not sure things will change enough at that position to keep him off the roster. Not unless we make some roster moves to get better at LB(which we probably should).
  6. I hope Mac Jones wins that job so Cam can go somewhere I can wish him well. Can't do it as long as he is a Pat.
  7. Yeah, I think most reasonable people think of this experiment as at least a bit of a longshot to pay off. It would have been nice to have invested enough into a quality offensive line to at least fix some of the problems he had in NY. But, alas, here we are.
  8. He still needs to put up elite stats. They aren't going to care about getting into the playoffs if he isn't putting up big numbers.
  9. CMC and Burns are the obvious ones. DJ, Moton, Robby are outside shots. I don't see many others as likely candidates, mostly because they are a lot of young guys and would need to put up video game stats to get on those radars(Brown, Chinn, Horn, etc).
  10. If the staff and FO see him as a cheap gamble, I wouldn't have an issue with a trade for him. My expectations would be pretty low and I wouldn't want to see anything more than say a 6th round draft pick sent their way.
  11. Because missing a couple of weeks as a key reserve isn't that big of a deal. Much better than half a season or a whole season. Injuries are bound to happen, it's the NFL. These are the kinds of injuries that don't derail seasons.
  12. He didn't exactly stand out in his rookie season. And he is also dealing with an injury this offseason. If they are interested in moving him(which we don't know that they are) after taking him in the first round a couple of years ago, that should say a lot.
  13. That is much cleaner than quite a few strip clubs I have been to.
  14. Beware any hype that isn't generated from regular season games. We will know how these dumpster dives and late round selections look towards the end of the year.
  15. Dillard is leaning bust so I wouldn't give up much. I don't want to see a desperation trade.
  16. I am down to split a subscription if you want to do that. I really like PFR.
  17. We need to temper our expectations in general because of our youth. Not many teams this young are strong playoff contenders early on. It takes time for them to get the experience and polish.
  18. The DBO thing is very cheesy. I don't think it really matters much in terms of positive or negative impacts. It's just cheesy. If it actually worked, I am down for whatever cheesy gimmick they can come up with. If it doesn't work it just makes them look kind of goofy. I don't care about that. I care about winning.
