I'd take Tyrod in a heartbeat. He takes care of the ball and runs the offense proficiently. He's the kind of game manager that could steer this ship through a bad OL. Not saying he is a long term answer but he would be a very big upgrade over Sam and PJ.

100% agree. He has been the biggest loss on defense all year. All due respect to Reddick, Shaq has been our defensive MVP all year long.

I think there are ample reasons to question the coaching staff. The entire QB room is loaded with reasons to question them. I would love for them to prove me wrong and sign a decent veteran QB. I just don't think that will happen. I suspect plan 1 is to get Darnold through the protocol somehow and then plan 2 is to start PJ.

I will be interested to see how quickly they abandon the "by committee" approach at RB against NE. I suspect we will see them abandon any notion of load distribution and watch CMC get 90+% of the snaps.

Don't be so sure about that.....keep in mind that PJ isn't an NFL caliber player and has been toted around on our roster for almost 2 seasons now. The smart move would be to bring in veteran help but the smart move would have also been to have done it before the season even started.

I wouldn't mind seeing a veteran QB signing this week. I would be curious to see if our drop issues continue with someone other than Sam/PJ. If not, there is a big issue with the coaching or morale in that unit. Something is definitely up.

Yeah, a dose of that Falcons D was just what the doctor ordered. I would like to see that line stay mostly intact, outside of perhaps Erving and BC being switched. I think there is some hope with Jordan/Scott at guard.

It wasn't just adequate, at times it was dominant in the run game. Take a look at Scott and Michael Jordan on the replays. That may be the best guard play we have seen all year.

I mean....I am not gonna be upset if Ridley decides to sit the next game against us, as well. There are few players in the history of this series who have owned us like he has.

Well, this year that would have to be 8-8-1. Sparky comments aside, I would be thrilled to finish around .500. Especially since four of the games would be coming against the tough part of our schedule.

Punting and field position is generally better than what our offense has been producing. I am down for continuing the run heavy attack. Try it until it doesn't work. We don't have anything to lose.

I am not rooting against him. Never have and don't plan to because that hurts the team. He isn't going to be a top 15 QB, no matter the circumstances. It doesn't matter how many alt accounts get created to push that narrative. Like I said, I don't care if he sits or not because he doesn't contribute enough to our success to make an impact. Same thing I could say about Dennis Daley or Cam Erving or Kevin Miller or any number of the bums on that OL unit. Doesn't matter how many times we shuffle through that deck of turds, it still ends up poo. That's the Sam Darnold and PJ Walker situation.

He was the same guy he has always been. If you are crowing about a 13/24 for 129 yds and no TD's....I mean, I don't know what to say. Name any average QB in the NFL that would be acceptable.

Yeah, because he sucks. He played a minimal part in the victory. Same with PJ. We won inspire of our QB's. No shame in it. Lean in to your strengths as a team. Ours is an elite defense and a serviceable running game.

Yeah, he is. We are not going to win this year based on our QB. That is over. We have a rushing offense and a great defense. That is our identity.

I doubt it was the plan. I am just not gonna cry crocodile tears for a guy that is 100% not the answer. It isn't important what we have at QB now. They both suck royally. It's about the running game and this defense. That is our only avenue for success in the short term.

No offense but you aren't putting a real QB in danger. Darnold is expendable on offense.
