  1. Definitely like claiming personal responsibility for his failures in NY. It shows he recognizes that he was part of the problem and I think that bodes well for him correcting his issues.
  2. Can't root FOR the Cowboys but surely can root AGAINST the Bucs.
  3. I think he will always be streaky but we just mainly need him to stay healthy. If we can do that, I think he will be our best CB this season. We have no other playmaker like him in the secondary(so far).
  4. Yeah, I would like to see him be a little more disciplined in run support.
  5. 4-6 sacks, top 5 at his position in QB pressures/hurries. Also expect to see an improvement in run support.
  6. The most interesting selection is Donte. Having seen snippets from his past, I wouldn't have predicted him to be that kind of material. Perhaps this bodes well for his maturing as a professional. Maybe he's a guy that balls out this year without much preseason/offseason fan fare?
  7. Hate 'em both, refuse to root for Brady. fug the Bucs. No sense in worrying about the wild card in week one. We either take care of business or we don't.
  8. poo, go look at his post history. All he did for the first few weeks was post vehemently defending Darnold from any real Panther fan that made critical statements on here. That was all I needed to see. Just another player fan surfing in. Happens every offseason and they usually are gone quickly.
  9. He deserves that ranking based on his career. This season is about whether he can rise above that or not.
  10. BYU’s Taysom Hill will replace a shaky Jameis Winston in the second half and lead the Saints on a game-winning two-minute drive. Lost me with this
  11. Those are a little high expectations, IMO. I can see several scenarios where falling short of the playoffs will still be a successful season. I just want to see clear progress from last season.
  12. I am down. I'd love to see him prove he is an elite pass rushers. Advanced stats show he is but the sacks aren't there yet. That is what gets disproportionately represented in the media hype.
  13. Burns has to put up video game numbers, honestly. He just hasn't gotten the national rep yet, even if he may be worthy.
  14. And we have had losing seasons in which we were predicted as Super Bowl Champs. You never truly know what you have until the football is real. For our team, we have so many young and new players, it is almost impossible to know what we will get
  15. I am not a big fan of using such a critical offensive asset in a return capacity. But, it also sucks to have unreliable return options.
  16. I think that will be the clear storyline of the season, Darnold and that OL. We may have struggles elsewhere but that dynamic has the biggest potential to take or add W's. I would be shocked if our failures or successes elsewhere have a bigger impact than that.
  17. Rhule never recruited particularly well in college. He is more of a "winning culture" guy, so I expect that might translate a little better to the NFL. We have some big challenges with the unprecedented dearth of talent during the rebuild but we looked ahead of schedule last season. If we nailed another draft class, it could accelerate our process even more. While we lack some key depth, we do have the talent to contend in the next few years. We just have to keep adding to the talent pool at a greater rate than it is being subtracted. On the surface, they seem to be doing that.
  18. This would fit with the general Rhule college track. If we are in the 7-9 win range, next year we could see our big jump.
  19. Yeah, I hope they don't take all the gunslinger out of him.
