Yeah, it doesn't help the "injury" storyline, even if it is true. I can't hate the man for wanting to still play. I just hate to see him as a shell of his former self.

I do want to point out that Smith finished his career with 19,173 All Purpose Yards and 89 career TD's. That does dwarf what the rest of the finalists in this class have at the position.

I actually don't disagree that there are QB's in this league that could win with the current team more than our present ones. Would we be a 11+ win team? Highly unlikely. But there are great players that could succeed at a higher level than this current group is. Not even a knock to them, it is just that sometimes an elite QB can make up for a lot of flaws. My God....we should know that, Prime Cam did that almost every season.
