  1. Canales is at his best coaching when he has a full week to prepare and dig into why he lost the game. That's when he really excels, in hindsight. For sure he doesn't when it comes to pre-game planning/preparation and in game management. He's REAL bad at that. But, man, he really is great at seeing his constant mistakes after he has made them.
  2. No, I genuinely don't think they are good teams. I think they are extremely well coached teams but New England has an atrocious roster and a top 5 easiest schedule in NFL history. The Bills are having to get into shootout wins with .500 or lower teams. They are going to very much struggle with that poor of a defense and few weapons outside of Josh Allen. This isn't the 2015 Panthers with Cam toting around a bunch of bums and dominating. It's scratching out hard fought wins against the who's who of who dat. When they finally hit the playoffs, I think it's gonna be a different story. For both of those teams.
  3. But then we can't potentially "trick" them with God-tier QB Bryce Young and have him throw a pass.
  4. Oh yeah, not disputing that. I suspect our next head coach will be our worst yet.
  5. I think we just play to the opponent. Even in two of the blowouts(which, neither are very good teams, admittedly) Buffalo and New England, those games were fairly close to being competitive, minus a lot of coaching/execution blunders. Oddly, Jacksonville was the only game it just felt like we were never really in it. It's progress to an extent.
  6. I am thoroughly perplexed by 7. How in the world can you look at the Saints situation and the Tampa situation and think the Saints are better off????
  7. The #3 Tiebreaker is common opponents. https://www.nfl.com/standings/tie-breaking-procedures
  8. I actually think that like Bryce, Canales isn’t in the top 25 NFL of his profession either.
  9. poo, most of our WR's would be getting absolutely annihilated too.
  10. Yeah, I suppose there is that. Not a bright outlook, that is for certain.
  11. I honestly am not sure the hiring pool will get better if we fire him this offseason, next offseason or the offseason after. This is a tough sell to any coach with realistic options.
  12. Donte actually recovered from that surgery and has played very well the past two seasons. Now, he has done it on significantly better defenses than Horn....
  13. Yeah and maybe NO wouldn't have absolutely dunked all over him in the two games had we played to his strengths more.
  14. This is incorrect. We lose the #3 tiebreaker. In your scenario, common opponents record would be: Tampa: 7-7 Carolina: 6-8
  15. This is my problem with the Pro-Bryce crowd. Why does Bryce get graded on this curve??? Why?? He is a three year starter.
  16. He is not in man coverage very often. I wish we would change that scheme to have him on an island versus their best WR more often. Why would you pay a player that kind of money and not have him shadowing the opposing teams best WR??? It's bananas.
  17. Actually, it is startling how many worse NFL starters there have been this season than Bryce. It has not been a great year for bottom tier QB's.
  18. I don't disagree. I was just pointing out that of all the scenarios you were comparing in those images, technically Bryce was in the best shape. Not good shape, for certain.
  19. Yeah, it's why I get so upset when they do such obviously goofy things like drafting project players in the top 3 rounds. That is a luxury that a team like the Ravens might be able to get away with but even they rarely do that. I will say that Morgan seemed to hone in primarily on FOOTBALL players rather than just pure athletes in this last draft. Mixed results so far but that had been too often overlooked by our franchise.
  20. I think if you gave him Brady or Manning's mind he would be a viable starter in the NFL. Nothing spectacular, but a middle of the pack game managing type. Chad Pennington+, if you will.
  21. I think a massive amount of the offseason plans are going to be an unknown until we see what happens with the defensive coordinator spot. I just hope we stick to BPA. This is a truly awful roster, let's work on improving that overall.
  22. There probably is some truth to that. I think the overwhelming bulk of his problems are between his ears.
  23. I would say coaching was a bigger factor, for sure. But Bryce was the biggest reason outside our coaching staff. He just isn't an NFL caliber starting QB. He's a middle of the pack 2nd stringer at his peak.
  24. Oh, I am definitely on board the Jettison Bryce Train but my logic is based on trying to get as many boxes ticked as possible. I think we can all agree the only real chance of getting rid of anyone is likely Evero and that is probably just because he isn't going to resign with us.
  25. Truthfully, those really haven't been massive concerns. In fact, I would call them lesser concerns in the overall Bryce Experience.
