He isn't slow, he is actually a very good athlete. I think he is just slow to react to everything. He isn't instinctive at all. He's basically a reserve LB.

The determination used for Spotrac and OTC are not clear to me. It does seem to heavily be weighted on playing time/starting but as we know that isn't always a determination of market value. BC I don't know if he will return to us. It depends on his recovery. That was a really bad injury to have for a guy that will be very close to the end of his career. I hope he recovers completely and we get 2-3 more years of excellent backup play from him. He has been quietly one of our most valuable lineman in a long time, despite being a backup. I am find keeping Corbett at the correct cost and as a backup. He has no business starting at Center anymore. Not to mention he can literally never stay healthy. I agree on EDGE and QB. Two biggest issues by a wide margin(amongst the PILE of other issues). We have a couple of young guys that look to be capable role player replacements for Jones/Wonnum, but it is time to shoot for the moon and get actual upper tier pass rushers into Carolina again. Final note, when I am pooh-poohing these reserves that you are falling in love with, it's nothing special I am doing. A bit of "eye test" with a healthy dose of realizing that most backups are backups for a reason. Especially when they have gone through multiple free agent cycles and the league has resoundingly said, "Nah." Not everyone is Freddie Luvu. Most are Christian Rozeboom's.

Brother, remember that BC talk this past offseason? Just trust me on Mays. He isn't a long term starting caliber C. I wouldn't put a position on the rounds yet. That is too myopic. Just build a good draft board and play it out. Big moves should only happen for big reasons.

Well the clear answer is just to get Mays healthy. Corbett isn't enough of a drop off from Hunt to risk Hunt's future with us.

That market has plateaued because most of the top young players at those positions have recent deals. I wouldn't expect another big spike for another couple of offseasons.

You can disagree but I would suggest looking at recent games for Curhan. I am not expecting the world, nor should any of us, but we also shouldn't be surprised when a PS player gets abused in games. That's a very unsuccessful strategy.

If the argument is Zavala vs. Curhen, the battle is already lost.

Hunt is fairly overrated by our fans. Damn good player but we will be fine with Corbett back at OG. Better than losing Hunt for a large chunk of the offseason.

Curhen has performed both well and absolutely terrible. Ideally we get a real NFL caliber OG in there when Corbett slides back over.

If you look at Brown and Horn's contracts, expect to pay above what he is likely actually worth. This is the Panthers suckage tax. Ultimately, much like Derrick Brown, he has steadily improved over time and that's what you want out of your young first round draft picks. He was one of the biggest and most important question marks coming into the season and he has answered it conclusively. He is "the guy" at LT. Great news, one less position of extreme importance to have to attempt to remedy.

Keep in mind that Baker does have a fuged up AC joint. Also keep in mind Evans is about to return.

How about don't rush a very expensive player recovering from a bicep tear back? Just get Mays healthy and Corbett is a very good OG.

I agree on the RB but not Dart. He does not impress me.

I am not convinced Dart is actually better than Wilson/Winston. I think he is just not old is all people care about.
