  1. Hunt was out when Dowdle had about 9 total carries on the season. Hell he was about 2 YPC at the time Hunt went down. Also, I am less inclined to think Cousins was the sole reason for Atlanta to come roaring back. He was basically Bryce Young. In his eight starts he went 5-3, had 2 total games over 200 yds passing and only scored 11 TD's.
  2. Not saying that isn't true but it does project to potentially be even tougher than the #9 SOS we had this season.
  3. Brother I am not gonna sit here and let you fuging besmirch the name of that 2014 team. They were 7-8-1. Sooo...did you not see next seasons schedule yet?
  4. No way, dude. They are basically the same player through three seasons. I will show you:
  5. It isn't about his time or not his time, the situation created and certainly the press conference after his firing in which Tepper repeatedly intentionally mispronounced his name(a notorious Tepper practice) broadcast to the entire NFL coaching community who he is. Furthermore, saddling him with some chaotic "dream team" staff isn't what any credible head coach would want. He did it again with Canales and Evero. That's the point, any notion of "oh you have to be careful about how it looks" is long gone. This is overwhelmingly the worst job in the NFL. That isn't likely to change because they fire Canales now or when they fire him next season/offseason. You aren't gonna get extra credit for that.
  6. He won't be correcting his footwork because he doesn't agree it is an issue. He disagrees with every outside source that has told him he should correct it.
  7. I mean, he is objectively a pretty bad coach. He is one of the worst coaches we have ever had when it comes to in game adjustments, personnel management and game preparation.
  8. Those nails are already driven through the bottom of the coffin with the constant turnover, the way he treated a very respected guy in Frank Reich and all of the ample amounts of talking in the coaching community about how bad of an owner he is. The righting of that ship will likely not happen. Also, it's very likely we will revert back to that 5 win team next year.
  9. Did you not forget how badly Flores worked out in Miami? Shades of Josh McDaniels. Some people are just better as coordinators. As some one who spends a ton of time in Detroit, almost no one up there would get rid of Dan Campbell for Ben Johnson. He is a beloved figure and for good reason. Tampa fans are probably dumb enough and on enough drugs to want Canales back.
  10. He can. Marty Schottenheimer, John Fox and Tony Dungy all got fired after making the playoffs. It's not about what you can or can't do. It's about recognizing when what you are doing isn't working. Optics are irrelevant if you know you have a path to success. But, as many have stated, John Harbaugh is a smart guy. Smart enough to never consider working for David Tepper.
  11. This guy who is apparently over the hill got fired for having the best season in Dave Canales' career.
  12. I mean, the track record is already established, there is zero left to lose on that front. If it fails, you are back to where you started. If he succeeds, no one remembers anyway.
  13. You are the UDFA/Trash Heap Romeo. You ought to be constructing a statue to Coker at this point.
  14. He's what I would call a "bridge coach." Build culture and then hand it off.
  15. Look, Mayo deserved more time in New England but when they saw Vrabel available....decision made.
  16. After reading that article on the Raiders, I am placing a lot less blame on Carroll than before. He could have some left in the tank but that situation sounded like it was untenable.
  17. 1,000,000%. There is almost no chance Canales will ever be half the coach Harbaugh is/was/etc.
  18. https://www.essentiallysports.com/nfl-active-news-ravens-sources-john-harbaugh-wasnt-fired-left-ravens-after-refusing-major-staff-changes/ Doesn't sound like this was initially a firing.
  19. I can see the thought process behind the speculation but Harbaugh doesn't seem much like a Tepper head coach, especially after Frank Reich. He's more likely to sign Chris Foerster(Dolphins former staff coach that was seen snorting cocaine on video while in the facility) after he says he has cleaned up and is now super religious. That's more of a Tepper hire.
