  1. They are better in run blocking than pass blocking. The stats and metrics back that up.
  2. I think I like Pickett as the best of the bunch. Obviously, lower ceiling than most of the prospects but a lot higher floor. Corral.....I just can't get into him. Ridder I kind of like. Not 1st round like but I wouldn't be upset if we got him in the 2nd or 3rd(yes, I know those are phantom picks for us).
  3. I mean, I didn't have to do anything but watch you melt down over absolutely nothing.
  4. In the last 31 starts(across his last two years with the Panthers and his season with New England) he was a 65.9% passer. Cam got the rap as an inaccurate passer because we had OC's that set up QB's to complete less passes. He doesn't have a job because we broke him and he would get the vaccine. Make not mistake, even broken Cam is far better than what we currently have.
  5. I would be interested to see something different only to see if the issue is Brady. We may very well find out the issue is only Darnold or we may find out Rhule is far worse. At this point....I just want to see something different.
  6. Rhule was the OC at Temple while he was HC, so he actually has more experience than Brady does. As to if he is an upgrade....eh....I get the feeling like we will soon find out.
  7. Eh, I am not gonna say that he cannot improve or get better. Everyone wanted Sean McVay but his meteoric rise is the exception and not the rule. Brady has a total of 2 years of NFL coaching experience prior to getting this OC gig. This job was probably just a bridge too far at this stage in his career. It's entirely possible that in 5-10 years Joe Brady is a great OC and a great HC candidate.
  8. Yeah, the defense is still fun to watch. Maybe if Rhule takes over playcalling we can run the fug out of the ball and just simply not let Darnold fug it up for them. All we really need to do is play the field position game and give our defense some rest.
  9. It's not really the fans that Rhule needs to be worried about. Half the fans want to fire a coach after every loss. It's David Tepper that Rhule needs to worry about. He doesn't seem particularly happy.
  10. I mean, I just can just see what is obvious. I saw it before we signed him, I saw it after we signed him. The dude is who he is. Nothing can fix it.
  11. That isn't the first guy to bring up how many repeated plays we run in a game. And Darnold.....that is exactly what I have been saying for weeks now. The dude does not have it.
  12. Came for the casual conversation, stayed for @iamhubby1's tears and hysterics. 10/10. Would read again.
  13. 100% agree. He has such an astronomical bust factor.
  14. Another competent QB we face that will make us pay for the short fields that the offense is going to hand over. I am not looking forward to it. Especially since this is an offense that can score quickly and ours cannot score at all.
  15. In fairness, we have put together a very talented and young roster. The biggest concern is how they just can't seem to wrap their head around certain key and CRITICAL positions, like OL and QB. You aren't gonna go far in this league if those two units are as bad as ours.
  16. Yeah, I like Horn a lot as well but when you see how easy it could have been to get one of the best OT's in the NFL right now, it is truly maddening. Especially when we have a highly rated pass defense that doesn't even feature the guy we drafted anymore. Meanwhile, our most significant LT play of the year was Christensen sacking our QB.
  17. If you are going to envision building the OL, it literally starts with a LT. It is the most difficult to find lineman in the NFL and one of the most difficult positions to find an elite player. Also, if you are going to envision a future good offensive line, the only player on this roster in the discussion is Moton. All the rest of them are backups at the extreme best.
  18. What is so crazy is that as great of a prospect as Horn is, we went out and got good at CB without him. So.....did we even need to take a CB??? You want to give credit for addressing a need and then they sort of fug themselves in the process by showing how quickly you can improve that position.
  19. If you get a chance to get an elite LT and you pass, you may as well just shut the doors to the franchise. You don't pass that up for IOL. Make no mistake, we aren't gonna fix the OL in only one offseason. So we have to get something. Ideally 1-2 competent starters. That is a start. It is a lot easier for 2-3 good offensive linemen to cover up for 2-3 shitty ones. Plus we do have free agency. I assume we will have to hire a consultant of some sort to evaluate them, since our coaching staff and front office have never seen what a competent offensive lineman looks like. If they could just take their top 10 favorite guys in free agency and just immediately mark them off the list. That would help.
  20. Boy, it sure would have been nice to take the 13th highest rated OT in the NFL currently, Rashawn Slater in the first round....
  21. Good guards and centers are easier to find than LT's. You can get a good guard or center in the 2nd or 3rd round, not so much LT's. We just suck at all three of those things.
  22. Yeah, if there is a can't miss OL prospect, just fuging take the guy.
  23. That is why I want to go OL with our first. Or trade down to get more 2nd and 3rd one picks, which we solely use on OL. We have to get at least one sure starter out of this next offseason, preferably two.
