One of these top shelf OT's at 6 would make that OL transformation potentially quite extreme.

I hope he is able to stick around(in the NFL) as a back up QB for a few years and maybe finally get a ring. It won't be here, very unfortunately but he deserves it. He deserves it for everything he gave and one of our stars deserves to finally get one.

Yeah and that is honestly where I am with it. I feel the same way with the draft, for that matter. Do nothing at QB, let Rhule take the shelling he deserves this season and start anew in 2023.

I honestly think that people want CMC to be something he isn't, which I have always found really odd because he is actually quite elite at what he does. His downside is injuries, not skill level. He's a real, NFL RB, not a gadget or utility player or definitely not a WR. He really is an actual RB. Happens to be an elite RB, even.

But will we hear things in public or will the things that are heard only be in your head?

He haven't "done nothing" at QB, we've just accomplished nothing. There is a difference, albeit subtle.

I am not upset about the one year deals. It's far better than our history of signing big, dumb contracts.

It goes beyond PFF grades. He played very well and certainly looked the part of a franchise left tackle. Barring some Matt Kalil-like fall, that one will hurt for a while.

That's what great players do. I don't think we have many players on our roster who have the passion to lead and be great players.

Slater was the correct choice for us, IMO. I don't think that has anything to do with how good Horn will be as a player, however. Everything about him indicates he will be a great NFL player in time.

I am a little bit afraid that Marshall might end up being a flat out bust. I get that we have issues at QB but he was really underwhelming. I hated the pick(OL stan) but liked the player, so I am a little surprised he didn't flash more in 2021. But, I think taking a WR at 6 would be a very Matt Millen-esque move. We have so many critical needs at positions that adding a top 10 pick WR to a WR corps with a lot of committed money just doesn't make any sense. Even less so considering we don't have a QB. Now, if we traded a QB, I might be persuaded with an argument but as it stands right now, WR is not a dire need nor makes much sense.
