  1. I tend to avoid that bar in general because those fans are mostly trying to pick fights with opposing fans. I have seen some of the most ignorant, ridiculous BS from those fug heads.
  2. Technically the person causing all the problems is Matt Rhule. But, yes, Sam had a lot to do with the inept run game because no defense feared us in the passing game. Made us easy to defend.
  3. I did because I was out there. I didn't even get loud. Just enjoyed the game. I have no hatred towards the Blues. They swatted my least favorite team, the Bruins, in a Stanley Cup Final, so if anything I am grateful.
  4. Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless are the same troll with different costumes.
  5. There was time last week too. There was time when Sam was here. Like I said, in hindsight, I expect more and more off our offensive issues are going to end up landing squarely at his feet. Time will tell.
  6. Too bad he wasn't here last week so I could hang out at the Raleigh Pats bar and listen to their racist ass fans cry about getting beat by the "thug" Cam Newton. Boston gonna Boston.
  7. Honestly, the sacks and pressure were partly Darnold's fault. He couldn't make quick enough decisions, hence his Time To Throw being so high. Definitely not all of them but he didn't help matters by not being able to hit open guys. That is why I said PJ would be more decisive(which he had been the past two years) than Sam. Might not be the right read or a safe throw but he is much more decisive than Darnold was.
  8. Agreed. TBH, I think we should keep MJ too. If those guys can be solid, we only need 2 more starters and maybe 5 more backups.
  9. Agreed. I love Jackson but Gilmore is an elite corner and hands down the best defender on the team. Actually, he is the best player on our team period(all due respect to CMC).
  10. That's my thought. Don't break the bank on anyone but if you can get them back on a fair deal, absolutely keep them. Imagine having Horn, Gilmore and DJack for 2-3 years?
  11. Lol. Yeah, I know. If Robby finishes the season strong, there are going to be a lot of sheepish people around these parts.
  12. IDK if we should trade anyone or not. Our tradeable assets are Horn, Henderson, Taylor and Bouye. But all those guys are on cheap deals. I think the real question is what do you do with Gilmore and D. Jackson? Sign one? Sign both? Ideally, Gilmore takes a hometown discount and we get D. Jack back on a reasonable deal(3-4 years with little guaranteed money in the last year). Part of what has made our defense so dominant is the plethora of above average to elite CB's.
  13. Paradis was looking good prior to injury, as well. I think it is largely due to the play of His Airness and Trent Scott. They have made the center look better by not sucking so hard at OG. TBH, OG has been a much bigger issue than C all year. MJ has added some nastiness to that OL.
  14. Doesn't this belong in the Game Day Menu thread?
  15. This. We have ample options at CB. Sit back, learn from Gilmore, Bouye and D. Jack(the vets) and see you in 2022, Mr. Horn. Zero reason to rush this.
  16. That is the thing, we aren't the Rivera Panthers that need him to bail them out at every turn. We have weapons and an elite defense(again). He just needs to be a steady influence and run the offense competently.
  17. I will be wearing sunglasses and a mask for the intro. For safety, I mean....for safety.....
  18. It was nice to watch that in a St. Louis sports bar, BTW. Quite nice.
  19. Hard to say. I don't think any of us should expect Prime Cam cannon. That is probably gone forever. But, he can still be a dynamic playmaker and run the offense efficiently. THAT is what we need from him.
  20. Can't wait for his next offseason thread about how if we can just fix Darnold's mechanics we have a franchise QB.
  21. To his credit, for all the doubt I piled on him, he did exactly what a backup QB was supposed to do, win the game. Nothing spectacular, nothing awful. Just good enough.
  22. That's why my blame matrix evolved from 1. Darnold, 2. OL, 3. Brady to only Matt Rhule. It become extremely obvious that Darnold was the issue and I kept saying as much when ALL our receivers were struggling. The film told the story even more, with guys open on so many plays without the ball getting to them. Sam Darnold is and was completely incapable of playing QB in the NFL. Even casual fans knew this. I suspect we are going to see more and more proof of that fact every game in 2021. Also, to all the Cam haters that beat the drums the past few weeks when people kept mentioning him as the best QB available......get ready. This is gonna be tough for you.
  23. Got my tickets(first game all year I have been able to make) and dusted off my Cam jersey. Ready to Keep Pounding these WTF's until the clock hits 00:00.
  24. If we can get Cam up to speed in the next two weeks...this could be Disney movie type poo.
