  1. Well, considering the way PJ played the real question is why was Darnold even starting that long? PJ already had a better command of the offense. And that's Rhule's boy, too. Darnold had starting shitting himself in Game 4, it took this long to make a fuging obvious decision??? Rhule isn't off the hook for that or other bad decisions. The credit we ALL should give is the ability to pivot quickly on a bad choice. They have shown the ability to do that.
  2. Sneak? I believe you meant kick the motherfuging door in to the playoffs.
  3. Triangle and Triad both sound like they meet those needs. CLT is a fuging nightmare to get around(horribly behind in road infrastructure) but that wouldn't be an issue for telecommuting. Triad hasn't started to sprawl that badly. RDU is starting to sprawl in every direction. The hottest areas are probably North Raleigh/Wake Forest and Durham. Durham is especially growing. If you want access to RDU but outside the city limits, look at Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner and maybe out towards Clayton(Johnston Co. doesn't suit me but some like it).
  4. I tried to poop this post for effect but I am out of reactions for the day.
  5. I bet you can't even quote anything remotely coherent nor relevant statistically.
  6. I can't make you understand how stats work. Not within my power.
  7. Yeah, they were pushing Jordan pretty early on as having a nasty disposition in the run blocking game. Something we had been lacking inside.
  8. But but but but.....the OL is the problem! We just need to get him an OL! Who could possibly play well behind this OL?!!!
  9. Yep. I give the 4 Man Rush credit for pointing this out every week.
  10. Well we do have the story of Snow and the defensive staff being the ones that pointed out Darnold to Rhule and compared him to the guy they were actually after, Matt Stafford. Maybe that is a start. Don't trust your career defensive guys with offensive personnel evaluations.
  11. You literally have one data point. That isn't how stats work. I can't help you see what you just don't want to see.
  12. I mean....maybe? I would have to sit down with an org chart and look at personnel histories but even then I am not sure if that would tell the story. Some things we just can't ultimately know. I know Rhule is The Guy on all personnel decisions so the buck ultimately stops there.
  13. I know. It boggles the mind. We need to wrest control away from someone or bolster our FO/scouting department. I know we can't continue to poo the bed every offseason and draft on that side of the ball.
  14. 16 straight FG's made. Longest streak since Gano.
  15. I will agree with that. The level(and frequency) of blunders they make is very concerning but we have never in our franchise history ever pivoted as quickly as we do under Rhule. I have a mountain of criticisms of the dude but when he realizes he has made a mistake, he flips quickly. Did so in 2020 and 2021. It is refreshing to see. Maybe he doesn't acknowledge thr mistakes publicly but he makes changes quickly.
  16. I literally can't wrap my head around the dichotomy of player evaluations that we see from this staff. You look at QB and OL and they seem to have absolutely no idea what they are even looking at. Then you see the defensive personnel and they make some shrewd signings. It's hard to fathom what is really going on behind the scenes. Especially when you see they somehow talked themselves into Sam Darnold. I am reminded of the quote Rhule made with something to the effect of "....we didn't really make our evaluation based on tape." This was in reference to Darnold and I am sure that isn't an accurate quote but something along those lines. And I remember thinking, "Wait....you made a player evaluation NOT based on tape?? WTF?" Things like that make me believe there is some group think going on in the organization. Too many people not being critical of personnel choices.
  17. I can understand the thought process about needing some time to get up to speed in the offense but keep in mind that Newton is an 11 year NFL veteran. There will be a learning curve but you don't expect it to be as steep as a young player. Even without a full offseason, Cam should be able to get up to speed in a few weeks, even in a complex offense. Everything has it's wrinkles and terminology but the core knowledge is the same.
  18. Sole of us have been screaming that. It was his rap from NY. Plus, I kept trying to hint that the fact EVERY receiver on our team suddenly had the yips seemed pretty unlikely to be completely the receivers fault. Then you watch All 22 and see receivers open every 2nd or 3rd pass play that just aren't getting seen at all. Not just when pressure existed, when there was a clean pocket and time. It was pretty obvious the problem was mainly Darnold. The OL and Brady have their issues top but the collapse of the offense laid at his feet. Which, as I also evolved to believe, ultimately was 0% Sam Darnold's fault and 100% Matt Rhule's fault.
  19. I think it had become rather obvious. Look no farther than Joe Brady's "1-0" tweet and Matt Rhule's comments about needing to run the ball more. Everyone in the NFL knew we were fuged on offense but we have a select group of Darnold Super Fanboys that still believe Samta Claus is real. He's coming down that chimney to deliver 400 yds, 4 TD's and no TO's. He literally was the exact same guy he was with the Jets. How this was hard for people to see is completely beyond me.
  20. Imagine crying all offseason about the "negativity" in the Huddle, then watching one of the worst QB's in franchise history while crying about "negativity", then being negative about the best QB in franchise history returning. Imagine that.
  21. Chill, bro. He was getting the Sam skin removed from his F-150. Plus, it was hard for him to handle all the board positivity.
