I have sciatica flare ups fairly frequently. It's manageable, although extremely painful. The biggest issue would be if it is causing "dead leg" or numbness, which I do get sometimes. That would really impact your play. Outside that, it's just miserable pain.

REPORT: Panthers going after SAF Jevon Holland
kungfoodude replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
We have to overpay for talent. That's the life of a cellar dweller. Not many really want to be here, you have to pay. Hence why our poor drafting history has fuged us so hard. -
I think the truth is not many of the more attractive free agents are going to be interested in us without a massive pile of money. We are basically the Jets minus the massive attraction of the NY market
-
Yeah, I suspect this, as well. Lots of big contenders want a guy like that too.

I don't know that it is or isn't but that's very, very rarely something someone says as a ploy. It really doesn't help him personally out at all.

Joe Person mock draft house party special
kungfoodude replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
No, ultimately we are a few offseasons away, no matter how it shakes out. I would like to see an Edge/DE, TE, and RB taken at the bare minimum because of the depth and overall quality at those positions. -
Us as a SB contender is very unlikely in the next 5 seasons if we are crushing every offseason between then and now. That is such a crazy long way from being anything close to a reality. At that point, Metcalf is likely on the backside of his career.

Don't love it, don't hate it. Pretty solid. -
Also, not sure if anyone has posted this but Metcalf is requesting a trade to a contender. We aren't looking at that for a few seasons if we are very lucky.
-
Paying Horn top corner money is completely insane. He has so rarely ever played like that.
-
Red Wings fans wooing all game to mock us. Me at the end...
-
He has played well. Cleaned up a few dicey ones.
-
Atmosphere in the arena is pretty muted. We can turn it on them quick with another goal
-
Took the wind out of their sails.
-
Can't get much going. Definitely getting outplayed.

Stop me if you have heard this before....Canes with a slow start.

REPORT: Panthers interested in WR Darius Slayton
kungfoodude replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is a crazy deep TE class. I am very reticent to take a guy that I don’t really believe is head and shoulders above the pack(Warren) at 8. I want a TE and Edge/DE in the top 60. Hence why I am so dead set on trading down. This seems like such a great draft to do so. -

Eh....$12 mil isn't terrible but it's not great. Especially with a minimal amount of cap space. -

Depends on price, IMO. -

I don't disagree but you can't buy your way in free agency by overpaying FA's all the time. It never works. Eventually you have to draft well. I also think people need to get past the "one offseason turnaround" idea. This is gonna be a long ass haul.
