  1. Tremble and TMJ got plenty of PT last year. Tremble started 11 games, played 16 games and was in on 48% of all offensive snaps. TMJ started 3 games, played in 13 games and was in on 48% of offensive snaps. Tremble was fine, it was TMJ that was a head scratching disappointment. The issue I have with the 2021 class is that we didn't much of anything from our 1st-3rd picks. Now, Horn I like and he was injured so there is an asterisk on that statement. However, TMJ and BC were just plain not good. They were disappointing even by rookie standards. So, that is a big concern. We have to get them to develop into something, if even just quality depth guys. But a team as talent deficient as we are cannot have many bad drafts. It just digs a deeper and deeper hole.
  2. I don't think Corral is necessary. If he just hits on Horn, Icky, Chinn and maybe Marshall he's good in my book. I don't really judge harshly on anything past the 3rd round.
  3. Well the question was for the season, so I took it as season and not that game specifically, so I wouldn't take Horn. Not to mention, he is an almost completely unknown quantity versus a highly productive and extremely experienced guy in Tillman. He definitely wouldn't be starting over Josh Norman. Harper was a tough one. I just went with veteran over a guy that is really still pretty raw and learning. Plus, Chinn is pretty ineffective in pass coverage, so that would be a concern. To me, more so in a one season timeline than Harper's waning effectiveness.
  4. Agree. It is entirely likely that we slow down Miller enough to not get Cam killed.
  5. That basically means you weren't paying attention. It was rare the season that Matt Stafford was not one of the best 8 QB's in the NFL. He looked like it and he played like it. You just couldn't see it because he was on a franchise that lost all the time.
  6. DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, Shaq(technically cheating), Taylor Moton(no brainer), CMC(this was close). I don't think Burns gets in over Charles Johnson or Jared Allen. I know he is a better pass rusher but that team was top 10 against the run and I think Burns hurts more than helps as a starter. Definitely think he'd be excellent as a bench player. I couldn't put Ikey over Oher because we literally haven't seen him play. I couldn't put Horn over Norman or Tillman because they had great years in that scheme. They weren't an issue at all. Good argument could be made for Chinn over Harper but Chinn's struggles in coverage(still unresolved) could be a problem.
  7. Pretty sure you weren't the only one with that strategy.
  8. You could make the same argument for Fitterer, IMO. After all, Rhule technically had final say. Fitterer isn't a "real" GM at the moment.
  9. Even more paramount when you can't attract top free agents. Whiffing on draft picks just compounds the problem more every season.
  10. The supposedly positive posters are also rarely involved unless they are complaining about the negative posters, so it's basically the same thing. The equivalent of a co-worker literally spending 8 hours complaining about a co-worker who complains too much. It's also the offseason, so the lack of general information usually brings out the worst in the Huddle. That really never changes.
  11. Agreed. Especially considering Rhule technically has the final say. Fitterer we may not know about until Rhule is gone.
  12. I won't show my hand yet because I don't want to have any impact on the results. The Tepper poll was surprising how heavily he was disliked. I was thinking somewhere in the 60-70% range of disapproval, not almost 85%. That is why I wanted to check on Rhule and Fitterer.
  13. I am in that same boat but I didn't want to include that as an option. Just interested to see how this compares to Rhule and Tepper. I have my suspicions how it will end up, just want to see if the voting shows it.
  14. Wanted to compare this to the Tepper and Rhule polls.
  15. Wanted to compare this to the Tepper and the(upcoming) Fitterer poll.
  16. Yeah but I don't actually think the owners really want parity either.
  17. I think the cap trickery is more common now than when Hurney was handing out monster contracts. This is a relatively new thing to see on such a wide scale. Especially the void years. I think Richardson wanted a winning team and he was close a few times. I think he just never got the right FO people to achieve that vision. As for Tepper.....TBD. I like to think he wants to build a winner but his actions have gone almost entirely counter to winning. I don't know what to think of Fitterer. I would like to see him actually have real stroke versus being subject to whatever idiot idea Rhule has. I think once we fire Rhule that we might have a clearer idea about Fitterer.
  18. I think we are teetering on the edge of two cliffs with the roster. On the one side is that these drafts don't pan out and the roster is much worse than expected. On the other side is that these drafts do pan out and we have a good, solid young core to build around for the next 4-10 years. We just gotta see which way it tilts.
  19. Neither the players nor owners would want this situation. That's the problem with this solution.
  20. He also had a lot lower workload last season than normal(second fewest punts in his career). We will see. I still think he has tons left in the tank(only 32) and can get us back to being an elite punting unit. If the OL gels, it can have a bigger impact(although the impact may be muted depending on QB play). I just don't personally believe Bozeman and Corbett are going to be much more than average players. TBD. I'm fine being wrong if they do pan out. Ideally we are both wrong and Hekker, Bozeman and Corbett all ball out. My money is personally on Hekker having a much bigger impact on our punting unit than Bozeman/Corbett on the OL.
  21. Well consider how much our punting struggled last year(28th in the NFL) it may have a big impact if our offense struggles similarly to how it did in 2021. Won't argue that OL is the position of the most need but I would argue that Bozeman and Corbett will have a bigger impact on the OL group than Hekker will on our punting unit. I doubt those will even be comparable.
  22. I mean, I would think compiling the worst winning percentage in franchise history through three seasons SHOULD be a fireable offense but then again this is the same dude that said Marty Hurney was a great evaluator. I backpedaled because I was really interjecting what I want to happen rather than what I believe will happen. For the unsuccessful stints portion, you need to go back and re-read what I said.
  23. poo, they do it on TV as much or more. Especially in the sports or political realm.
