  1. I'd take Baker for that in normal circumstances. Now....absolutely not. He will be just good enough so that Rhule doesn't get fired and we will be stuck with him at least another year.
  2. So did Sunshine down in Jacksonville but that didn't work out either.
  3. I'd say I feel about him like I did Mac Jones. Low ceiling, medium floor.
  4. Yeah, that is a great scenario for him or any young QB.
  5. Yeah, he is a nightmare pick for us. The only guy I could see maybe doing okay in our circumstances is baby hands. But I wouldn't want to spend a 6th on him.
  6. He has the best physical skills of any QB in this draft. He also has a history of completely melting down against any difficult competition. He is the classic high risk, high reward guy. Super high ceiling, super low floor.
  7. I don't know what you are smoking but I'd like an ounce, if possible.
  8. Basically how the Saints have successfully operated for a while
  9. Tepper deserves most of the blame but fug that used car salesman(Rhule), as well. I would hope we can also be adults enough to also leave the man(and FOR SURE his family) alone in public. Boo Rhule at the stadium? Have at it. He's getting paid well enough to be able to take it.
  10. It would definitely get Rhule fired, so maybe that is true.
  11. The culture that Rhule has bred is complete lack of personal accountability. That will remain and I suspect take some effort to root out by the next coaching staff.
  12. I will agree but would rather the first two options happen. IMO, he is still basically just a depth guy at best.
  13. I don't think he is gonna prove to me much better than we have been fielding. We like him because he isn't Erving but that's really about all there is to like about him.
  14. I am gonna keep cautioning everyone about BC. That's fools gold, not 24k.
  15. My thought is you just drafted a guy in the second round, why are you getting a guy like this? But, we may just end up cutting Higgins.
  16. Yeah, I get it. Haynes is not a bad contract, IMO. There are so many worse than that, unfortunately.
  17. I mean....we can't get rid of everyone. It's not like we have other guys to replace him, money to spend replacing him or draft picks to spend replacing him.
  18. Lol. He signed a contract to be a rotational player. He is a good rotational player.
  19. Great value signing. Not sure he will ever blossom into a star starter but he is a valuable rotational guy and that is a dirt cheap price.
  20. Like I said, it's a fantasy. It will very, very likely never happen.
  21. If that first scenario happens, I will have to be convinced I am not in a simulation.
  22. That was the rumor. If so, it should be at least a mild improvement.
