  1. Yeah, he's also 23 years old. You remember 23 year old @rayzor? I definitely don't remember being super smart about poo like that back then.
  2. Remember the 2020 and 2021 QB plans? So....you know the plan was Watson in 2022, right? That was Plan A, Plan B and Plan C.
  3. The people wanting to draft a QB at 6 are probably also the people who thought Darnold was basically a rookie.
  4. Don't overthink it. Don't try to fix it all in one fell swoop. The QB fix is over for 2022. It didn't happen. Wilson, Watson, etc. Also whiffed on QB's of the same caliber as the best of this draft(Trubisky, Taylor, Brissett, etc). Don't trade down, take the best OT on the board or best DE on the board. Trading down is just begging to fug this up....again. Just like 2021, consistently fuging up our draft.
  5. Anyone comparing Baker and Cam is foolish. Cam was a great teammate and at times a superstar. Baker can't even hold Jake Delhomme's jock at the moment.
  6. Calling Cam done as a starter is not hate, it's reality. I love the guy to death but his days as a full time starter in the NFL are over and he knows that, hence why he said he is okay being a backup. I am sure that was a difficult pill to swallow but it just is what it is. He was never the same player after all those injuries.
  7. Cam offers some great benefits as a teammate in general but this idea that he is going to come in and turn a young QB into a success are ridiculous. Cam's drive made him a success. If we need to have a guy like Cam come in and mold a new QB, they probably just aren't going to work out well anyway. And I don't mean that Cam can't help a young QB. Not saying that at all but people really go to far with the idea and expectation.
  8. Favre didn't mentor Rodgers. Smith didn't mentor Mahomes. Tom Brady had never mentored a player in his career. Now you might learn some things from them by watching and prepping with them. That's real. But you aren't going to have an older QB fighting for their job try to help in that effort. It's a cut throat business, not a charity.
  9. The issue I have is that he is likely to be better than anything we can draft but it's a one year rental versus a long term, cheap deal. So if you gamble, it probably makes more sense to gamble on a cheaper QB. Now, me personally? I take Mayfield ALL fuging DAY over these draft QB's. Why? Precisely because he has one year left on his deal. It either works out or it doesn't. I don't have dead roster weight for a few years(albeit not much).
  10. You remember that preseason championship a few years ago?
  11. Any of those players make an impact yet? Ultimately, that is the biggest determination. The value charts matter but not if the players you take didn't work out. So this may look better or a lot worse in a couple of years.
  12. Yeah, I mean. It might not be as bad as it sounds but availability is an ability and if you get suspended while being a long shot to make a roster.....
  13. She definitely leans on the Rappaport end of the scale. He has never had any filter. Just hear something and immediately report. Hence why he is/was so notorious for being wrong.
  14. That is sort of the safety net argument. So, Cross is the most polished pass protector but Ekwonu has a level of nasty to him that eludes to him being successful somewhere on the line. Then you have Neal who seems to be a prospect that you made on Madden. I think at least 2 will be Pro Bowlers but I wouldn't necessarily place my bets on who.
  15. More of the wrong now is the rush to be first. That's a widespread problem. Zero vetting, just log on and start spewing.
  16. Eh, she had the same flaws as a lot of the social media "reporters" do. She is basically a less connected Ian Rappaport. Also, not a compliment.
  17. I don't think Neal is assured to be a LT. RT or OG are possible for him. My view is that Neal and Ekwonu will be successful somewhere on a starting OL. Cross will either be successful as a LT or he just won't be successful. Bottom line, I'll take any of the three.
  18. Well Rhule is a dipshit so the math actually works.
  19. Doesn't mean Bill isn't a great coach. He is one of the best of all time......but Tom Brady owes very little credit to Bill. The stories of how competitive he is are well known at this point.
  20. Dude, seriously......do you think they are shrewd enough for that? My God, think about how much info leaks from that place.
  21. It doesn't take discipline when the NFL consensus was that he was too small.
