  1. Saw an article the other day quoting 4-5 current NFL FO guys and they all were still high on Levis. Perhaps the NFL crowd isn't as down on him as we are. TBD.
  2. Most of the UF fans I know personally seem rather unimpressed by Richardson.
  3. We are pretty early in the evaluation cycle but it is surprising to hear anonymous quotes from NFL FO people saying they are still very high on Levis.
  4. Yeah, unless you personally know someone close to the situation a lot of that you end up inferring from someone shooting up draft boards or dropping like a rock. Sometimes it does become widely known later.
  5. There are factors in that equation that we don't know anything about as laymen. It may be that he isn't that coachable. It may be that he doesn't work on his craft. It may be that Florida's development is trash. Those aren't things most of us will ever know and all these evaluators will have to try and get a handle on.
  6. Sure, and this is the classic "Russell Wilson" or "Tom Brady" argument. If you base your projections on outliers, it usually ends up poorly. Now, are his(Richardson's) issues with either mechanics and field vision correctable? Possibly. It's up to the scouting department to figure out if that is something he has tried to correct and simply cannot or just hasn't been developed correctly.
  7. A boom or bust prospect should at least be somewhat within the boom range. I am not seeing that for Richardson. Outside of physically looking the part and having a good arm, he has no other valid QB qualities. That's a problem. Even Levis has times where you clearly see QB qualities in his play. Richardson rarely had any.
  8. Darnold offers the possibility of an iron clad loss but it's hard to underestimate how terrible Denver is. I would love to lose out and secure a top 3 pick but it would be much better to beat Denver, IMO.
  9. This is the most laughable take of the season. Thank you for this excellent comedy.
  10. That was a franchise torpedoing deal. They might not be relevant for a long time if they don't recover. Unfortunately, I do believe a huge amount of their struggles are attached to their HC. It's possible that turns around when they fire him. Hopefully it will take them a long time to figure that out.
  11. Outperforming Wilson on the Broncos is not a high bar to hit. I am very much enjoying the dumpster fire they are turning into.
  12. In fairness, lots of very successful NFL coaches were once retreads. It's not always the KOD.
  13. Yeah that 1.5 cent brain is a huge issue. Which, Darnold would currently be the least experienced QB in the first round with his NFL experience. People forget that his total experience playing QB is insanely low.
  14. That's why we rolled out our supreme tank commander......
  15. If he goes to the Chargers, that may be the new power in that division. I could see him taking Herbert to the next level.
  16. The answer is clear. Bring back Vinny Testaverde.
  17. Given what he said to the Jets on the way out and his performance since then, I think his motivation is pretty limited. Even if it isn't, his confidence and ability are not at an NFL level. I have zero doubts he will just continue to be the same QB he has always been. It may take a little time, but he has never strayed far from his baseline playing level.
  18. Soooo....what happened in 2021?
  19. Watch us get stomped in our most winnable remaining game. Wilks playing 5D chess.
  20. Yeah, not sure you are judging him correctly. Winston has broken 4k yards three times in his career. Are you saying he is a better QB? Carson Wentz has broken 3k yards 5 times in his career. Are you saying he is a better QB?
  21. Nick Saban also wears lifted shoes, apparently. He is supposedly a bit sensitive about being a little fella.
