  1. That was a franchise torpedoing deal. They might not be relevant for a long time if they don't recover. Unfortunately, I do believe a huge amount of their struggles are attached to their HC. It's possible that turns around when they fire him. Hopefully it will take them a long time to figure that out.
  2. Outperforming Wilson on the Broncos is not a high bar to hit. I am very much enjoying the dumpster fire they are turning into.
  3. In fairness, lots of very successful NFL coaches were once retreads. It's not always the KOD.
  4. Yeah that 1.5 cent brain is a huge issue. Which, Darnold would currently be the least experienced QB in the first round with his NFL experience. People forget that his total experience playing QB is insanely low.
  5. That's why we rolled out our supreme tank commander......
  6. If he goes to the Chargers, that may be the new power in that division. I could see him taking Herbert to the next level.
  7. The answer is clear. Bring back Vinny Testaverde.
  8. Given what he said to the Jets on the way out and his performance since then, I think his motivation is pretty limited. Even if it isn't, his confidence and ability are not at an NFL level. I have zero doubts he will just continue to be the same QB he has always been. It may take a little time, but he has never strayed far from his baseline playing level.
  9. Soooo....what happened in 2021?
  10. Watch us get stomped in our most winnable remaining game. Wilks playing 5D chess.
  11. Yeah, not sure you are judging him correctly. Winston has broken 4k yards three times in his career. Are you saying he is a better QB? Carson Wentz has broken 3k yards 5 times in his career. Are you saying he is a better QB?
  12. Nick Saban also wears lifted shoes, apparently. He is supposedly a bit sensitive about being a little fella.
  13. TBH....very much unsure on that. Need to see more of his tape from before 2022.
  14. 1. is based on what the FO and scouting department think. There are ample instances of people thinking that X QB was a surefire thing. It's acknowledged that risk is involved. I think the issues with Richardson are 100% with the tape. His tools are fine.
  15. Richardson is a project that has a very large likelihood of not being ever completed, so taking him in the top 10 would likely be a massive mistake. Not to mention a player like that would be in desperate need of a good QB coach to help them develop properly. That will be the same with any project QB with a steeper learning curve. So the questions to answer are(in order): 1. Is there a surefire franchise QB(or QB's) available? 2. Is there a developmental QB prospect worth taking in the top 10? 3. Is there a top end project QB(or QB's) that you don't consider top 10 draft worthy? You basically adjust your draft strategy around that if you are a QB desperate team the way that we are. The lower end options also include having to resort to a stop gap FA option.....again.
  16. Richardson is a huge project. More of a project than even Corral was. We have zero use for that currently Jefferson I do like quite a bit but, again, not a day one starter for sure.
  17. Richardson is the guy I actually want no parts of. Everything about him says huge bust. If he is smart he goes back to school and really doubles down on improving as a passer. It's fine to be a big athlete with a great skill set but you have to actually be able to pass the ball effectively at an NFL level. Currently he is arguably the worst QB in the SEC, which isn't a good starting point. I would DEFINITELY take KJ Jefferson over Richardson. To me that isn't even a real discussion. Jefferson is worlds better than Richardson.
  18. I don't think it's locked up yet but it's pretty tough to see that 180 happening.
