  1. Yeah, I don't really see the chances of me keeping my season tickets extending past next season. There isn't a good reason to.
  2. Which mistake would be most likely to right the ship?
  3. Yeah, this is the deepest hole we have ever been in as a franchise. I compared our QB plight the last two seasons(mainly here in the Huddle) to the Cleveland Browns from 1999-2017(that could really be extended past 2017, TBH). In a side by side we haven't compared favorably to them during that long two decade stretch. This was also spurred by bad ownership. My guess is that we are probably looking at perhaps another 15-20 years of this if that trend keeps holding up.
  4. If you re-watch either game 1 or game 2, you will see a other scenario where we stupidly burn a TO and you can see Frank say into his mic, "That’s on me." Frank is the almost sole reason this offense doesn't operate. It's time to turn it over to Thomas Brown and let him do something different. Even if he isn't ready, maybe he is capable of learning from his mistakes. Frank is and old dog. There are no new tricks he is going to learn.
  5. I am not off the Bryce bandwagon just yet because many a first round rookie QB looks like poo in year one. That said....the red flags are mounting. But, I think as time goes on the more I am blaming Frank Reich. If you haven't noticed, most of our returning offensive players have almost all looked far worse than last season. I don't think that is an accident. Frank has zero ability to change what he does to suit the players you have. It's pretty questionable how well it would work with a lineup of very elite players. The bulk of my ire is directed at the coaching staff currently. The remaining bulk is at the front office and ownership. Those are the biggest problems we face as a franchise. Even if Bryce ends up a bust, he is a symptom of a bigger sickness.
  6. Well Snyder made the mistake of becoming an enemy of the owners, which isn't a tenable situation. The NFL wants all the wealthiest people involved as owners, so unless Tepper really wears out his welcome, he will be the owner until he doesn't want to be or dies. We just have to hope he also doesn't move the team, as well. I don't think that is something that we shouldn't be worried about. Tepper has zero ties to this area. Even after buying the team, he still doesn't have any ties at all.
  7. Yeah, Frank has to be a one year coach, IMO. He has thoroughly proven that he isn't the guy. The problem being that isn't going to send a welcoming signal to anyone trying to be the next HC. We will likely have to make someone an INSANE offer(which would piss off the other owners again) to get anyone worth a poo.
  8. I mean....if this is playing not to lose....
  9. I used to think that. I don't believe I do anymore.
  10. Even if it solely wasn't the bad idea. What they did afterwards to fix the WR corps was pretty close to a disaster.
  11. Yeah, I don't think any of us would be happy about watching them have two top 5 picks.
  12. I mean, this scheme is trash but he has plenty of time to throw. He isn't the sole problem but he isn't the best QB on this roster at the moment. Not trying to throw shade because Bryce was my guy in the draft but it is true.
  13. That's what I mean, he hasn't been able to do that like he did in college. Don't take pointless sacks trying to do it in the NFL.
  14. Which it is EXTREMELY difficult to just line up and be better than the other team in the NFL. That is the core of college football but it doesn't work at the NFL level.
  15. Frank probably has more to prove than anyone else. Young is a rookie, rookie struggles happen. Our other young guys have some excuses. Frank isn't a rookie head coach. He's been in the league a long time. He doesn't get a lot of excuses.
  16. I'd oddly like to see more throws out of bounds if things break down. Don't try to extend these plays like Russell or McNabb or even Cam. You aren't those dudes. Make the read, extend a little and then throw it away or make a safe throw.
  17. Nah, we aren't bad enough defensively for that. The issue will be watching our offense get shut down by their mediocre defense. That is what is gonna really hurt.
  18. Well they also don't want to foot the bill for developmental football. They have it for free currently in college. Why would they change that?
  19. In fairness, I think he probably has to improve a lot to be at Hurney's level at this rate.
  20. I have noticed that, as well. He tends to stare down his WR's too. Arguably the most talented prospect but he isn't the shiny gem that some seem to believe.
  21. I don't think it is just Ikey. All of our younger lineman have struggled. It doesn't help that we have a line built to bruise but we keep putting them in difficult passing situations for 80% of the game. Doesn't mean that we shouldn't be concerned but maybe running the ball more than 10 times a game might help them out some.
  22. My God it has been wonderful watching that douche fall flat on his face.
