  1. People assume playing him makes this better. It does not.
  2. MFW the Bucs getting dunked on....
  3. Was very worried about him at center but he has arguably been better than Corbett.
  4. Nijam is really bad. He was a terrible offseason signing.
  5. At least he is able to laugh about it too. Such is the life of a Panthers fan.
  6. Todd Bowles legit never breaks from his "just smelled a fart" face. It's fuging strange.
  7. I am in on Flowers and Moore but none of the rest of that.
  8. It's possible. We will see how it shakes out. I am only pushing back on the idea that we are a lock at #1. Stiffer competition than normal this year.
  9. Gotta default to PPG because of the change in games per season.
  10. You lost me at Darnold. He is very far from a "star." CMC trade was good. Overpaid(I would say this about literally any NFL RB) and injury prone. Also got an insanely good(probably will not be matched in the next 10 years) trade haul for a RB. We are just lightspeed retarded and squandered almost 100% of the proceeds. DJ Moore....Christ that one hurts so fuging bad. We have passed on so many stars and long term starters over the past 6 years in the draft that it is sickening. But, how else do you end up where we are if it isn't this sort of gross roster/draft mismanagement? Just go ahead and start investing in appropriate Panthers merch.
  11. I really don't think there is anyone in this draft worth trading up to #1 for. May end up being proven wrong but I don't want to be on the losing end of that sort of trade......again. I am still in favor of standing pat unless a wild trade offer is made. BPA all the way. IDC what position in that top 5 range. Just make it a clear cut and relatively safe second contract, solid starter. Elite if possible.
  12. Hey, I am all for finally being on the positive end of a fleecing. It would be about fuging time.
  13. Bro, only we are dumb enough to offer up someone like Crosby to get a potentially mediocre QB.
  14. He is rolling in endorsements and has an insanely cushy and high paying job with ESPN. I doubt he could easily be swayed out of that.
  15. I think at this point it's really more about who is going to be on the team in the future and gaining some compensation for them. We still suck at compensatory picks, so this is actually a reasonable way to accrue something.
  16. Eh....I mean he has looked better but they have also increased their scoring deficient with him(losing by roughly 80% more PPG), so I am not sure I would call that shot about them being a lock to pass us. Make no mistake, that is a terrible team too.
  17. I think that depends on what trading back looks like and how far. In a draft that seems to be short on elite talent, it might not be wise to trade out of the range to actually land it.
  18. This is literally the same thing thrown at the Saints for years and years but that GM soldiered on. Shanahan will bear the brunt of these failures because everyone with any sense can see that is the most talented roster in the NFL.
  19. The bigger issue is less money than this being a desirable spot in free agency outside just trying to get paid. I think we will dramatically struggle to make good FA additions here until we get this ship turned around. It's basically draft or bust.
  20. TBH, I don't buy the Lynch rumors even a little bit. If anything, he has proven how adept he is at evaluating and acquiring talent(in free agency and through the draft). IMO, Shanahan is likely the one to be staring at the hot seat.
  21. I really don't think it would be that much better, TBH. Not enough to matter.
  22. Moton doesn't have enough value to trade, IMO. Plus, Niman is just not good at all. That is an unwise move, IMO. Of the minimal bright spots this season, the OL was one.
  23. 100%. I HOPE(but don't believe) that this was just window dressing/PR on the turd that they likely knew this was going to be. If anyone in that organization had any shred of sense, they could have seen this coming. Sadly, I kept saying all offseason this was the worst roster in franchise history. I was very surprised so many posters pushed back on that. I am not reveling in being correct, I am just genuinely perplexed that people didn't see it. I have said(and am still trying to get a sportsbook to give me odds on) and maintain that we are not likely to see a winning season before 2030.
