  1. I think most of my Panthers "anger" is pretty much mock at this point. It's basically just at the level of being annoyed. I do reserve some energy for teams I hate, still.
  2. I think I only still get a little heated over NHL. The Panthers and Hornets have worn me down to the point of largely being apathetic.
  3. The worst case scenario is that we have two backup caliber QB's. Well the Browns have maybe 2 and some PS guys. Who cares? If Bryce isn't the answer it just is what it is. I have no idea why you people keep thinking there is some fuging savior just floundering away on an AFL/CFL/XFL team or PS. Those guys are there for a reason. The examples of that working out are literally as outlier as you can get.
  4. They are all in on the rookie. The optics are bad across the board to attempt to "save" him from a beating by putting in Cousins. If you can't handle that schematically, you are toast as a HC/OC.
  5. I know. The amount of angst over Dalton and pining after these absolute unholy bums is fuging comical.
  6. Cousins doesn't really play well under constant duress, so I am not sure that is something to worry about. It's certainly possible but I don't think it's likely. TBH, he does seem fairly washed.
  7. Yeah, the college homers are pretty insufferable across the board. That's one thing I notice with the non-college sports areas of the country that is really, really nice. That sort of homerism doesn't bleed into the pro fan ranks nearly as much. It's refreshing. IDGAF where you went to college, if you are great, great. If you suck, you suck. I will never forget being in Columbia, SC at a sports bar and basically the Panthers game being relegated to only one TV because all the rest of them were showing the Cleveland fuging Browns and their 19th string QB who was from the Cocks. About 80% of the people were there to watching this inconsequential bum in a game of zeo importance instead of the suppsed "One Team, Two States." That and several other similar instances showed me that the Panthers never have and never will be a SC representing team.
  8. This is where the Huddle gets delusional simping over a PS/CFL player. Mills actually has had pretty similar results to Bryce overall. Take that for whatever it's worth.
  9. If AT is gone, Coker will 100% be the guy that gets elevated.
  10. Yeah, his fanbois were certainly delusional. Still, I thought he was going to be at least a half decent backup QB. Doesn't seem likely now.
  11. Yeah but you know if you are a borderline player the margins are razor thin. Getting a boneheaded penalty like that is exactly how you get walking papers in that position.
  12. Such an insane and unhinged way to get cut.
  13. Wait a minute....they don't actually fuging HAVE a 4th yet??? How are we to believe this rumor about a 4th being offered? They quite literally don't have one.
  14. Yeah and very little of it was down the stretch last season. That's literally what the ACTUAL SEASON is supposed to solve for us. Was Bryce 1.0 or Bryce 2.0 the aberration? There is no point in getting your panties in a wad about the preseason. We got a few days before we get to see the real thing and start finding out.
  15. I think you are just being an old man yelling at the sky. I don't give a fug about joint practices either. Lace em up and that's when it counts. Not fuging practices. Practices are for the Ian Thomas's of the world.
  16. Dalton is more expensive because of the void year. Not much but more expensive.
  17. LMAO. Are you in full seriousness talking about PRESEASON??.. Dude, come on. Who gives a fug about preseason even a little bit? If he starts off this season like last season, then I will be calling for his head the same as everyone else. But....PRESEASON????
  18. Lol. The Texans are literally one of Bryce's six career NFL wins. WTF are you talking about?
  19. Yeah, I mean it is a statistical fact and also part of literally a player evaluation. Winston has literally lost dozens of games in his NFL career due to crippling TO's. It's just who he is. Look, it's fun when those insane throws work and he is leading you back from some crazy deficit. But those success are rare. It's why his career GWD count is so low. He's fun but he is fundamentally built to lose games. If you are talking about a backup QB, you are literally already losing in the first place. That's how you see a backup QB and that's overwhelmingly what they tend to do. Rookie QB's almost always benefit from veteran QB's. Same as literally any other position in the NFL. Why do you think that you so often hear that from the playera themselves? As for Bryce NEEDING one, no he sure as poo shouldn't this late in the game. But he also shouldn't have needed this fuging long to get his fuging footwork straightened out either. Yet here we are.
  20. I don't think the hypothetical move to RT would ever materialize. He has never played RT at the college or pro level. I believe it was Moton himself that stated its not simple to make this switch. I think realistically, if Ikey fails at LT he is likely to end up at OG. I also think that door is closed here, so more likely than not it would be with a new team.
  21. Winston is a TO machine. That's precisely why he isn't able to get much in the way of compensation. Million dollar talent but ten cent brain. He would certainly be entertaining to watch here but he wouldn't do much in the way of winning. Additionally, I don't think Winston is going to be capable of adding much to the QB room for a supposedly developing QB.
  22. Getting a better backup is going to be far, far more expensive and likely net fairly middling results. I have no idea why people bitch about Dalton, he has shown he is a capable backup. There is no backup in the NFL that is going to march in here and start winning games with a bad team in Kyle Allen fashion. This is a Panthers fan fantasy that is completely illogical.
  23. I think some of that is also scheme too. We rarely scheme players open in some of the recent dumpster fire offenses we have been running.
  24. Dalton is not making enough money to matter in terms of the cap. His max pay on this deal is in 2026 at a paltry $5.8 mil. There is no reason to create another problem here. We have enough of them already.
