Scourton could be a guy. He is not terribly impactful yet so it's possible he never ascends to being an elite guy but maybe ends up a rotational player. Which, as a 2nd rounder isn't a terrible return IF that was his ceiling. Currently, we have a roster of depth pieces but not real starting caliber EDGE guys, in my eyes. Complimentary players. So, obviously, we need more help at that position. Which, most positions on our roster we need more help at. I am not sure I would put that ahead of QB, especially considering we have a bottom quarter NFL QB at the moment. I don't think that is terribly relevant, however. The draft should be BPA. Zero reason to start reaching to solve these sort of problems. Same with free agency. Don't wildly overspend to fix problems out of panic and mortgage the future in the process.

Bryce's INT% has gone up each year. His TD% is too but his TO issues have not gotten better.

I would probably rather gamble in the 5th round of the upcoming draft than trade for Rattler. It's also unlikely they would move him. He's very cheap and he is valuable depth even if he isn't good.

Yeah, I think if people looked at his season of snaps on All 22 they wouldn't have such a rosy view. Not that he is atrocious but he needs a lot of polish in coverage.

Aim higher than a lateral move or downgrade. QB madness is setting in here.

PFR shows him has having allowed 16 completions for 321 yards and 2 TD's on 30 targets. This is a 113.3 QB rating on targets. It is the 3rd worst QB Rating allowed in his 7 year NFL career.

I am not trying to get overly excited but the 2025 draft class returns have been far better than I expected.

I am not convinced he is as anti-Bryce as we believe. I realize the benching last year makes it seem possible he has been over Bryce buuuut....he's also the same dude that makes pretty terrible other personnel decisions, as well. Corbett over Mays at C, Sanders over Evans at TE, XL over just about anyone on the roster at WR, etc, etc.

I think our low football IQ owner is more likely to be fooled by Bryce's recent successes than even some of the most ardent Bryce stans here.
