I would say it will not be in his best interest to stay here. He will be a hot commodity and I think he is smart enough to know that leaving is wise.

It's a good defense but it isn't an elite defense, even by FSU standards. To overcome their lack of a QB, they will need truly elite defensive play.

It will be interesting to see. He seems to make wild swings in direction so I sort of expect him to get some veteran GM that is long past his prime and perhaps has been on the shelf for years. Then surround him with a bunch of analytics nerds that feed him info he has no idea what to do with. So, basically the same construction as our current coaching staff but in the FO.

The mistake regular folks make is assuming that intellect and being wildly successful are bedfellows. I can tell an anecdote of a multimillion dollar company I had dealings with which the owner was barely literate. I mean that sincerely. He had been raised in Alabama, never made it to high school, and his "room" was the house porch for most of his childhood. But, he had built a very successful business. I had quite a few face to face interactions and although he thought he knew everything, he had the IQ of mildly handicapped chimp. But.....he was successful.
