Especially back in the day, it wasn't uncommon to see starters get whipped for a couple of series but then a turnaround by 2nd or 3rd string units. Also, it's largely a bunch of vanilla playcalling. These are exercises in player evaluations, nothing more. So, there isn't a reason to freak out about getting beat by 30 by the Browns. Now there are ample reasons to be concerned about some of the players and how they performed. The depth being trash, I mean....if you couldn't tell that from just looking at the roster, I don't know what to say. This is very likely the second worst roster in Panthers history, behind the 2024 roster.

He struggles a lot in pass coverage, IIRC. basically more suited to being a situational pass rusher. That's why he is likely expendable for them. He was an overdrafted guy they reached on.
