  1. Let's hear them. Carries: 6 Yards: 16 Catches: 2 Yards: 17 TD's: 0 TO's: 0 Decent outing against a very tough run defense opponent.
  2. I am perplexed by this "Bo Nix strong arm" thing. I am not sure if many people saw him in college, in the combine or certainly the NFL but he does not have anywhere near a "strong" NFL arm. Very much closer to average, if not squarely average.
  3. Drew Lock is a 3rd string QB, at his maximum potential reached.
  4. That would be Justin Fields and he should be VERY cheap.
  5. So, Stafford has literally always been an elite QB. Goff led a team to the SB so at worst he was Matt Ryan/Kirk Cousins tier. Baker was a guy that relatively stabilized the dumpster fire Browns QB situation until they wrongly gave up on him. Still was a Pro Bowl QB in Cleveland. Smith was a wild success story, however it took many stops and many years to rise to the top. Darnold is a wild bust that is still a bust, but he happens to be on one of the best teams in the NFL(averaged 1.3 TO's/GM for career, averaging 1.4 TO's/GM this season). Only a complete fool doesn't watch him and see that his ceiling is basically Jameis Winston. So....of these, you are banking on the multi-year veteran with many teams that finally made it or the still basically bust that also took multiple years and multiple stops to "make it." None of those situations is anything close to Daniel Jones and Carolina.
  6. Daboll is proving to be a fraud as a HC anyway. That team is too talented to be this bad.
  7. One is a tried and true veteran of moderate playing ability. The other is a wild QB bust with shattered confidence and questionable playing ability. I would prefer not to be shuffling two shitty QB's in and out all next season. Maybe try extending a mediocre veteran and hope for potentially mediocre results? As opposed to shooting for bottom quarter of the NFL and ending up with bottom tenth of all QB's on NFL rosters.
  8. Yeah, this is basically the same as asking, "What if Bryce Young suddenly had Patrick Mahomes brain, how would he do?" It isn't happening. This ship is beyond sailed. Send him somewhere else, let us move on and him move on.
  9. Daboll will get fired fairly soon, IMO. He cooked himself with that move.
  10. This is a luxury for a team with a settled QB situation. Go back up Mahomes or some other solid starter. That is the way to potentially turn around your career. It's not going to a dumpster fire franchise(which we are) in which you are a hair's breadth from starting and being in an even worse situation to succeed. Bad for us, worse for him. Makes zero sense.
  11. I mean, why would I bother even giving you a take with the lightspeed stupid things you post? I may as well go debate NFL topics with a potato.
  12. Uh....no. He is too close to starting in that situation. That's bad for us and him. I will take Dalton 100 out of 100 times over Jones.
  13. Imagine a Gettleman and Tepper combo. They would swell a room with their egos.
  14. Yeah, honestly that is a bad look for an organization. If you openly are disrespectful to a player, regardless of their abilities, why would I want to work there?
  15. Classic Gettleman. Always pining to be the smartest guy in the room.
  16. You know, I have often wondered what the long term consequences of smoking crack would be. Glad to see the results.
  17. I am not sure using one of the biggest QB busts since Josh Rosen is quite the measuring stick I would use for "success." Also, Nix did not have a lot of the physical abilities you look for. He does have at very, very, very best an NFL average arm. TBH, minus the running ability, he is basically what Bryce's rookie year was SUPPOSED to look like. Not too shabby, sees the field pretty well and makes above average decisions with passing the ball. Not a strong arm but adequate.
  18. Honestly, we are gonna need to pass in this game. This is the 3rd ranked rushing defense but the 16th ranked passing defense. So our strength is going against their strength.
  19. Considering the defense we are playing that would be one of the best rookie debuts for a RB in franchise history, so I quite highly doubt that. It would be great to see, though. If he is doing that by Game 17, that's just fine. That's successful.
  20. I still don't necessarily buy into Nix, although he has improved substantially against low end competition. His only two above average passing performances have been against us and the Falcons. Those are also the only two 250+ yard passing performances he has had all season. I am not sure this is an example of a guy that I would be calling a success just yet. Maybe. Also, maybe not.
  21. INB4 2025 and "We HaVe To StOp WiNnInG!!! wE nEeD tHa NuMbEr OnE pIcK tO gEt OuR qB!!!" Meanwhile.....
  22. In theory, that has ready happened. That guy has more lives with this organization than a bushel of cats, however. I want to believe we finally move on. I really want to believe.
  23. I don't think that will happen immediately. Canales seems to like Sanders for some reason.
  24. If Brooks gets injured then it just is what it is. It wouldn't make the top 20 disasters of the season. Also, he's a RB. They do get injured at higher rates than most positions.
  25. Or we could just play the season out trying to do the best you can(same as most of those teams) and then let the FO worry about the fuging draft. You know....like all NFL teams do. Did you see the Browns stadium last night? The riots that happened when they beat the Steelers because everyone wanted to tank so badly? Oh....that didn't happen at all. Imagine that!
