  1. IDK what we can do about it anymore.
  2. I experienced the exact opposite. I will never put a dime in Bally ever again.
  3. It isn't FD bad. It has never been great.
  4. He elevates his game against other Russian goalies.
  5. Only our second FA to sign elsewhere, correct?
  6. Yeah, I mean I just don't think there was a single GM in this league that looks at him as starting material. I never understood where that came from. Good signing at a market rate. Very valuable depth.
  7. I am a little surprised the Bosa to SF deal hasn't been completed yet.
  8. Yeah, it just feels like we are competing with ourselves. That's sort of the classic issue with a lot of our bad FO moves. I definitely feel that way about the Horn contract. Wow. That was so insanely reckless.
  9. You know, Thomas just kept fooling everyone in that building somehow. Remember how many times he "flashed in training camp/practice" and then disappeared during the season? It was NUTS. I don't see ever being okay paying significantly above market value for a blocking TE. They are just too easy to be had for a small price tag. That's just my personal philosophy on the matter. Not the way I like to see cap space utilized.
  10. TBH, after the initial surge of deals, it's probably better to let the market settle down and do some value shopping. Not sure there are a lot of upper end FA's that fit what they seem to be doing.
  11. NT was a big signing, I think. That solves a huge roster hole. SS seems to be a big upgrade(on paper). The rest are largely rotational guys in spots we need starters, so that is a TBD if that matters or not. On the surface, slightly better overall.
  12. As a former college football player buddy of mine once said to me, "Potential just means you haven't done poo yet." XL was not good, Sanders showed some flashes and Wallace was a mixed bag. Overall, it was a pretty bad draft after year one. D-, at best. TBD if that changes as they develop(or don't).
  13. I compared him to Thomas because of the price tag. Ian Thomas was obviously worse but the fact we kept paying him was fuging infuriating. Yeah, I mean I get that he might not have had continuity but as a professional you really need to be doing what it takes to improve your overall game if you have the drive to be great. TBH, I sort of just tend to think he is just never going to be more than a lower end receiving threat. It's just not who he is. Which, again, that's fine but just don't pay out the asshole for a blocking TE. Give him a market or market+ rate.
  14. That's another brilliant GM that uses draft capital wisely too.
  15. Jones may never even be a good Tier 2 QB in the NFL but Richardson is fuging awful.
  16. I would say it's been a fairly mixed bag so far in free agency. A couple of puzzling financial deals but overall we appear to have slightly improved the roster. The goal is that. Get better.
  17. I mean, this could be one of the best RB classes in the past 20 years in terms of depth. I don't know what leverage he thought he had.
  18. I don't think it's hate. I didn't agree with the size of the deal was the main issue I had. We paid him like he is a pretty good TE, which is a very much not. He is basically a blocking TE, which are a dime a dozen in the NFL. Yes, certainly if he develops into a pass catching threat the deal looks great but it's been three seasons without much in the way of development there. I think he just is who he is, an athletic blocking TE.
