  1. Well it is illegal to collude if you are the NFL. It isn't illegal to collude in the way Smith is suggesting. Organized labor is already basically collusion.
  2. I thought about troll posting the bulleted list he keeps spamming but I'll let him do that.
  3. The more teams start to establish their direction at QB, I believe his value will start to fall. Pre-draft 2021 is probably going to be peak value. After the draft, it might start to drop. If he sits out 2021 entirely, it will most likely drop substantially. It's actually fun to kind of watch the Texans so royally fug themselves.
  4. But @SizzleBuzz has told us Houston has all the leverage over the "whiny bitch" Deshaun Watson.
  5. An NFL team isn't a hedge fund. You can't cook the market here to win, despite what New England has done. We hope he brings success on the field.
  6. I can see how wanting to go away from passing during struggles would be potentially upsetting to a guy that was having an MVP caliber season up to that point. IMO, this will get smoothed over and he'll remain in Seattle. I kind of have a hard time believing it is a big rift in Seattle, more so that everyone involved is a little frustrated that in two straight seasons they struggled late in the year.
  7. A say in personnel is a problem, a say in scheme is reasonable. He wouldn't be the first QB in the NFL to have some say in the scheme. You have to also admit that sometimes Seattle's tendencies are a bit obvious and I do think that has a lot to do with Pete. I say that as a fan that really likes Wilson and Pete Carroll.
  8. Okay, so you are quite the "diva" too? At least you are self aware enough to admit that.
  9. Their OL was better but his sack percentage in 2019 was 5.8% and it was 5.9% in 2020. His pressure percentage was 20% in 2019 and 19.8% in 2020. His bad throw percentage was 11.8% in 2019 and 13.0% in 2020. His completion percentage about expectation was +0.6 in 2019 and +2.3 in 2020. So, in reality his performances in 2019 and 2020 were fairly similar, even with the better supporting cast in NO. They just had a team that was so good that it was able to win with him at QB. Hell, look at Taysom Hill going 3-1 with the Saints last year. We all know what a joke he is as a QB.
  10. Think about how inaccurate mocks are likely to be in general. Not many small school prospects played, opt outs, no Combine, etc, etc. It is gonna be a crazy draft.
  11. Well luckily if Kiper is saying it, it's a pretty safe bet it is BS.
  12. So if the company you are working for is being led by a dolt that keeps other dolts in management positions, you are just going to be a good little dog and stick it out? I assume you have worked for the same Wal-Mart for 25 years?
  13. That is some poo I would do if I had Bezos level money. Just buy some poo that I hated for billions and shut it down. Like Twitter or Facebook.
  14. Once he gets traded somewhere else or the unlikely scenario that he stays with the Texans. I think we can be in the running but this situation is so insanely wild I am just sort of enjoying the ride.
  15. Great stuff @Verge. INB4 @rippadonn pulls his Kyle Trask train into the station.....
  16. I would have. I have always been a Jameis fan.
  17. SF would be stupid to make that offer but I wouldn't turn them down.
  18. I agree with this completely. A big reason a lot of these 1st round guys do end up busting is teams reaching on these prospects. Do a thorough evaluation and you should be able to avoid more of those busts.
