  1. We definitely did not play like poo tonight. We just didn't take advantage of the opportunities in the first period and Ned let in a soft goal.
  2. Losing home ice is huge. That is not good news, flat out.
  3. Intensity is up. Just have to finish. I know once we go EN they will bang one in to win. Have we had a single 6 on 5 goal all season?
  4. That was a very, very avoidable goal. I don't want to lose on that BS.
  5. I just wish our PP wasn't so obviously overmatched against Tampa.
  6. No. We just don't have the energy and these are the defending champs. Better luck next season, I guess.
  7. Wait a minute, WTF am I doing? Well, clearly Nashville wore us down in that series and we are about to lose home ice advantage. It sucks to fall flat in our best Stanley Cup shot since 2006. Maybe we can keep the team together in the offseason.
  8. Need to score on this PP to start the period. We gotta get something to go in and I think it will start a wave.
  9. This has the feel of some of our regular season losses to them. Had long stretches of dominant play but just couldn't quite get the puck into the net. Hopefully we can settle down and start banging them in.
  10. Hate that we didn't bang at least one in. Hopefully we keep that momentum up.
  11. Want a goal in this period, though. It will suck to not have capitalized on all this momentum.
  12. We keep getting high caliber chances and their goalie is letting up rebounds. If we can bang one in, I think the floodgates open.
  13. With the addition of a 17th game, there is going to be a discrepancy in comparing statistics since 1978(when the 16 game schedule was first adopted). It will be subtle but per game stats will be important to remember when we start seeing season records fall and compare previous years to 2021 and beyond. Just something to keep in mind for our guys and the league as a whole.
  14. Well, he actually hasn't ever had 300 carries in a season. I think him being between 250-300 carries is about right. That should leave at least 100-150 carries for "other" backs.
  15. In fairness, we also still don't have a franchise QB, so we won't be sacrificing someone of Cam's caliber. Still, I don't see why you trade for a guy to get pummeled in his first(and likely last) year with us.
  16. I think his carries will remain about the same. I say receptions because if everything is working out, our WR corps is feasting.
  17. I think they fell into that trap last year. I hope they avoid it and spread the ball around this year. If our offense is clicking, CMC should have a career low in receptions.
