  1. Smitty had that dawg in him. XL has a sea slug in him.
  2. You paid attention to that roster down there at all? Did that logic work for Howell/Winston when they were starting? How about Josh Rosen? JaMarcus Russell? I guess starting in the NFL is now the litmus test for being a good NFL starter? All hail HOF QB, PJ Walker!
  3. Yeah, I don't disagree. I am also skeptical of how close to the hot seat these guys really are.
  4. How about just lay back and let it happen? No Matt Rhule BS. I am tired of panicked dum-dum roster moves for a bad team. The team is bad, whether we have Bryce or not.
  5. Spencer Rattler is Dollar Tree Sam Howell. Sam Howell is Dollar General Jameis Winston. I know that we suck at QB but maybe shoot a little higher than bottom third of the NFL QB backup. Everyone isn't an outlier. I swear fans desperation has them ignoring all logic and reasoning.
  6. Spencer Rattler sucks. Can we please stop dumpster diving. It has never ended well for us.
  7. I wouldn't waste a late round pick on a 3rd string QB. You can just use that late round pick to get one.
  8. TMac and Sanders are the only two of our receivers in the middlish of the pack(1.0 and 0.6/R) for Expected YAC/R above actual YAC/R. Hilariously, XL is 2nd to last in the NFL at -3. Only Diggs is lower at -6.
  9. I think the game breaker WR is a bit overrated. Not that they don't have value but a finely tuned offense will produce open players and big plays without the need for a Ted Ginn Jr. The tuning on this offensive machine is anything but fine.
  10. I am sure it may eat at him but if his response is to just basically not try, then I think this story is essentially over. The NFL is not for the weak. It's a tough slog to maintain a spot in this league
  11. 100% agree. A lineup of TMac, Coker and Renfrow might actually be an above average NFL WR corps for the first time in forever.
  12. I formally apologize to TMJ and Mingo for comparing them to XL this offseason. You guys deserve better than that.
  13. We did a complete roster tear down after 2018. Everyone here was clamoring for it, while I was not. Competent and competitive franchises never do this. They constantly retool. It keeps continuity even across staffs and helps maintain a certain level of culture. That is all now gone from our organization. We have no culture, we have no continuity. It's basically just a bunch of guys drifting through on their way other places or out of the league. This is why you never tear down a roster and especially without any stability or structure in the FO. We doomed ourselves to failure from the first moment of Tepper's era. He tore down everything and rebuilt in "his" image. Look upon it, Panther fans. This is exactly what you asked for and these are the results.
  14. I see a lot of talk about loss of confidence and I believe there is an element of that. But it's the lack of effort on tape that is the real concern. Confidence can perhaps be fixed but just mailing it in is a whole different ball game.
  15. If we win 2+ games in that stretch, I would say we are on schedule to meet expectations. Anything less and I think DC might actually have a shot at getting fired by the end of the year.
  16. Because we suck at QB talent evaluation, especially with respect to the NFL Draft. We have only had one above average starting caliber QB even on the roster since Cam, Baker Mayfield. And that was typical roster dysfunction that led to him being axed. Wilks didn't like Baker so he essentially canned him. Another of many reasons why I will never understand how some fans get so stuck up on Wilks as being this "missed opportunity." He was a bottom shelf NFL HC. He only looked good because we had that retarded nitwit, Matt Rhule as a HC prior to him. Anyway, our QB issues are all self inflicted. We can't evaluate worth a fug and then when we get mildly serviceable(Bridgewater) or potentially starting caliber(Mayfield) options, we fug it up.
  17. Yeah, I don't think it would. Might want to review the tape on the past two preseasons with him. The game I saw there was a massive gulf between him and Kyle Allen. Hence why he got cut.
  18. Yeah, I was on the 4 to 7 bandwagon since probably the draft. If we go 0-5 to start......man
  19. He 100% does not. The NFL team has skyrocketed in value. It has served the purpose it was supposed to serve, regardless of the on field results.
  20. I saw Hooker live in Detroit. He. Stinks.
  21. I suspect we will still end up in the 4 to 7 win range. It's unlikely we do actually go 0-17, although it's certainly possible.
  22. And a franchise noted for talent evaluation and development. Maybe something Tepper could learn a few things from.
  23. I think this is likely a comfortable Atlanta victory. They have a pretty punishing running attack that should give us fits. Obviously, if Bryce turns the ball over early and often, it will be a hole we have to dig out of like last week. I don't think they are going to take their foot off the gas as much as the Cardinals did.
  24. Winston would lose a ton of games here while being more fun to watch and setting records for INT's. A very clear middling backup QB is not the answer. You will never be able to break Jameis of his Favre-esque gunslinging. Many have tried, none have succeeded. As for not fuging up the draft? poo....we are many years into that. I don't expect that will change anytime soon.
  25. And the seat availability will only go up over time.
