  1. You are aware that was college football, correct?
  2. Maybe you should read his teammates reactions, as well. But, by all means, continue to be "Super Instagram Head Shrink."
  3. Funny, I would assume that a trained professional would see how foolish it would be to speculate on someone's psychological conditions without adequate information or at least personally treating them. Or at least that is an opinion I have heard from more than one practicing psychiatrist. Also, he wouldn't be the first professional athlete to lose his mind when they got some money. It could be any number of issues but they don't change the fact that he likely won't be playing in the NFL ever again.
  4. By actually seeing him and treating him as a psychiatrist, not watching Instagram videos and reading articles.
  5. If you read some of the articles on him prior to UGa(which perhaps they were fluff pieces) then he sounds like a kid with his head on fairly straight and a good student. Maybe he is just one of these kids that goes to college and wilds out. It isn't like at a football factory school they are going to provide great life guidance. You are just a commodity to them.
  6. Yeah, and the thing is, if these ARE true and the owner is involved, that also means he knew about this poo.
  7. Drew Brees was also coming off an injury that the majority of the NFL believed would be career ending.
  8. Yeah, the level of scum that he seems to be when you start digging into his background makes this all seem pretty suspect. I will say, again, that if any of this ever gets traced back to McNair, they should absolutely strip him of his NFL team.
  9. He also made an armchair diagnosis of schizophrenia based on little to no input. We don't know what his issues are or aren't. Regardless of the situation, he ruined his NFL opportunity. It would be interesting to know if he had red flags coming into the league or from the interviews.
  10. That's the thing, the way this all went down I am waiting to see the overall result and not gonna go off into the weeds of whether he is guilty or not. Let that all get sorted out. We all go way too overboard on jumping to assume people are guilty based on information streams with partial information, at best. Not to mention how much salacious BS gets blasted by the media and/or the legal system. I doubt you see him moved for a while, but I don't expect to see him play in Houston this coming season.
  11. Even if there were zero accusations, I don't think it was a given that this was going to happen before the draft.
  12. Eh.....I think we will see about that. Perhaps it has but I suspect that situation is pretty fluid. I understand the "insiders" are hearing that but nothing stays static in the NFL.
  13. I actually do think his lowest level is lower than Teddy.
  14. So, how about this.....what is your preferred move if Mrazek was 100% today? Do we try and keep three goalies? Do we roll with Mrazek and Reimer? Do we roll with Mrazek and Ned? Do we roll with Reimer and Ned?
  15. The difference with Wentz is that he has actually played at a very high level in the NFL and he is on a long term deal. The counter being that he is much more expensive than Darnold and his injury history is quite concerning. It's also a concern that he was as bad as he was in 2020. It was reminiscent of a kicker who just all of a sudden lost "it."
  16. I think you have to buy low for Darnold. I might give up a 3rd or 4th for him but not much more than that. Yes, Adam Gase is a QB shouter(I assume this is the antithesis of a QB whisperer) but Darnold was just plain bad a lot of times in NY. Not to mention, he is on the last year of his rookie deal, so you are essentially trading for a one year rental. That value isn't very high on a guy that you need more information on to see if his struggles were a product of Gase alone or Darnold was also an issue.
  17. Agreed. Ripping off two wins on the road would be huge to turn the tide. I do think we are missing Trocheck more than I expected.
  18. I have been hunting their Single Barrel Barrel Strength Rye to no avail.
  19. Well, this didn't last long. I am very annoyed that during the easiest month of our season per the schedule that we are rattling off this losing streak.
  20. That would lessen one problem on our OL, that is for sure.
  21. I am just going to disagree with you on his value. Admittedly, he didn't exactly light the world on fire so I don't think he would command the kind of haul Herbert would(Probably 2-3 1st round draft picks) but he is still a very promising young QB on a rookie deal. I definitely don't that that EVERY QB needy team would be willing to pony up a haul for Tua but I could easily see a scenario where he is a top 10 pick, and something like two 2nds or a 2nd and a 3rd. Keep in mind, he was already a top 5 pick, so it is basically trading into the top five in a previous draft, which is typically pretty pricey. So, yeah, if they were willing to make that trade, I am doing it all day long because we absolutely destroy them on the value. Do I feel like Tua is worth trading for much closer to "market value?" Honestly, not really. I was a little skeptical of him coming in, although mainly due to the injury. After seeing him last year, I do think he might be a lot more of a project than I expected.
