  1. And they NEED to get rid of a lot of them this offseason already.
  2. God I hope he tries to come back. He was so clearly on the decline, even before his ribs got smashed. He'll play until the fans turn on him.
  3. That article is what a literate version of Badtakelegend would pen. Pretty terrible. He not only didn't watch us play, it didn't appear if he watched any football at all. Also acted if Anderson and Moore were basically bums.
  4. This will really cook your noodle. Within inches of that information.....that awfully worded Twat by that Twit.
  5. I would rather see them roll was Taysom The Golden Calf of Bristol. I was genuinely looking forward to that future disaster.
  6. Brett Favre had a 29 INT season. Peyton Manning had a 28 INT season.
  7. Yeah...but I thought it was BS then. I mean......if he is your starter....why didn't you play him when Brees went down???? Is this genius or madness?
  8. Actually we won that trade. When Okung played he was very good and we got out from under Turner's deal.
  9. The odd thing is that he is a free agent. I just don't see how this benefits them to make this statement.
  10. It's an interesting public statement to make, that is for sure. I am personally a fan of Winston but I don't see how this makes the New Orleans position better in 2021 to say you might roll with him.
  11. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30827394/jameis-winston-new-orleans-saints-plans-drew-brees-retires-sean-payton-says Well this is an interesting development.....if it isn't a smokescreen.
  12. The rumor mill of this QB offseason is fuging riveting. IDC if any of this happens, it has been a wild ride.
  13. It is a nothing burger, IMO. He probably knows that we are trying to move on just as much as anyone, no reason to add fuel to that fire. He did the right thing which was juke around that question.
  14. Yeah but you expect him to be more supportive at that moment in time.
  15. It think Lance is a classic boom or bust guy. He is, IMO, the highest ceiling QB in the draft. Also the rawest prospect.
  16. Well, that happens a lot in college. Look at Mac Jones. All these guys have tape of them making easy throws.
  17. The difference is the QB desperation seems to be increasing this offseason. IMO, some of the hype about all these QB's going high is accurate. Perhaps when it all shakes out he falls. We are still in the period of post season evaluation. It is going to be a while before we start getting more rumors from the teams and scouts about where these guys actually rank on their boards.
  18. Listen, you can only be so cheery living in Pittsburgh. Of course they don't have a sense of humor.
  19. I think finally all 32 teams understand that if you don't get better at QB, you aren't going to get better as a franchise. Plus you also have more openings at QB as former elite QB's retire and get close to retirement. It has made this offseason(and it hasn't even really officially started yet!) extremely exciting.
  20. I think part of it is seeing how crazy the QB market is. As someone said in another thread, this may be the ultimate sellers market.
  21. Dear Lord.....to solidify your status as the author of the worst takes in the Huddle. It's impressive. You do it with both quality(or really lack therof) and quantity.
  22. I think you will be wrong about that. If you don't think he will be in the top 15 picks, you haven't been paying much attention to the NFL in the past 5 years and certainly not in the past 5 months.
  23. I would think at least 5-6 teams would have interest, if not more. Goff may be average or better(or worse) but even those QB's are getting to be rare in the current NFL.
