The sunshine squad provide perpetual entertainment to the rest of the Huddle every offseason. It is the one constant, homers ignoring reality. We aren't laughing with you, we're laughing at you......until it actually happens. Then we are both just disgruntled and upset.

If it is a panic move, it probably won't work out(which is likely true, regardless). See the history of Panthers panic roster moves.

I would genuinely be concerned if he made that Darnold move due to pressure to win.
-
Yeah. I don't think he would have preached patience to ticketholders and then turn around and can this guy for not performing well in just two seasons. IMO, if he finishes season 4 without a winning record, he'll be gone. Save something crazy like going 0-16 in 2022. For fans, we should probably start being concerned if we have a losing record this season(very, very likely) AND have a losing record in 2022. This would break his normal pattern of quick turnarounds and take the luster off of his reputation as being a miracle worker.

NFL fines Washington Football Team $10 million

I am not sure what the complaints are here. The real punishment is letting Snyder resume shadow control over the Redskins. What could be worse for their franchise than that? -
The ignore feature is crucial.

Could Taylor Moton become the Panthers' left tackle permanently?

I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I hope he is our LT and plays well. Having that roster hole plugged after so many years would be amazing. -
The Who's Who of Unknowns on the Carolina Panthers Roster

Special Teams guys are usually athletes. I gotta be honest, I just don't think he is gonna be a guy that makes it in the NFL. He has elite speed.....for a DT. -

I think the bulk of these guys are likely PS candidates more than roster candidates. -

Yeah, I know we have a small contingent of dedicated Paddy Fisher fans but he also had a 3.36 RAS. The odds of him making any NFL team are slim to none. LB's that are that poor athletically just don't make it in the NFL anymore. -
Those guys are a little different because they are size/speed freaks. Either way, I am happy to have Spiderman on the team.

Kyle Trask is still garbage.

Chinn was also not particularly stellar in coverage last season. So, there is some reason to think he might have some growing pains.

Same.

Depends on the supporting cast. He generated so many pressures last year but we couldn't cover and the rest of the DL wasn't always doing their part. If our secondary improves(on paper it should) and our front seven improves(on paper it should), then he should finally start finishing these sacks.

The worst part is that instead of being a 10+ win team, that year directly led to a complete roster teardown and sent us plummeting into the NFL cellar for what is now a multi-year stint. It's pretty unreal to think that after 2015 and that 15-1 season, we have now gone 34-46 since, with only one winning season in that span.

That was one of the worst teams in Carolina Panthers history. They were much worse than their record indicated. Not many squads have so clearly mailed it in while wearing the jersey.

If this hypothetical coin had three sides, yes. Mainly because it may only take a few things changing for that to happen. I think we will be better than in 2020(not a high bar to hit) but I think it could go really anywhere on the scale for how much better because there are only a couple of a returning players and they are all young or have question marks.
