  1. That dolt is gonna burn his way through those filters quick.
  2. My buddy took this at a grocery store in CLT. LMAO
  3. Some of the power generation utilities have already established measures like China. You get quizzed on your health prior to entry and they take your temp. If you fail, denied entry and quarantined.
  4. CLT is on Thursday according to some communications from one of the energy utilities there. Currently driving to Philadelphia to support a utility project.
  5. The economic apocalypse will be far worse than the virus apocalypse. I would definitely be in favor of some sensible measures. Temperature screenings, dramatic increases in testing, mandatory mask wearing. Basically a lot of the things Asian countries did. If an area is having widespread virus infections, lock down tighter. Otherwise, you are just going to create another Great Depression. We are teetering on that edge currently.

  7. I am not sure that is inaccurate. There have been anecdotal stories of people being found dead at home in Italy. Is it widespread? Probably not. Has it happened? For sure.
  8. I donated semen. Does that help?
  9. Everytime someone shows up with cardboard, I hold them down and rub their faces in it to show them.
  10. For sure, it's going to be a very stressful and exhausting time, most likely. That's a fair criticism. I am just trying to alleviate the panic mode because it's not helpful. Numbers and statistics make me calmer because I can see them and relate them.
  11. Actually, I do know a few(3-4). I will ask them what their opinion on the situation is. And if they were anxious, I really would say that because I would hope that would ease their mind pretty considerably.
  12. Well of the slightly less than 3400 cases of Chinese healthcare workers, 13 died of complications with the virus. That would be 0.4%.
  13. Well we are #17 on the "Most Obese Country of 2019" list, so I think the evidence speaks for itself...... Side note: Surprising how many fatties there are in the Middle East.
  14. Fun fact I was looking at, since the start of the COVID19 outbreak(Dec 2019) roughly 12,000 deaths worldwide have been recorded. By even the most conservative estimates, over 1.5 million people have died of starvation worldwide since Dec. 2019.

  16. 100% agree. Pretty good odds you would just end up with mild symptoms at that age anyway.
  17. If I didn't have to travel for the next 4-6 weeks for work, I would totally do one of those studies to get it. fug it. I think it's valuable to get tested just for peace of mind if nothing else. I know so many people with mild symptoms or nagging sickness that are worried to death about it, which all that stress makes their immune system weaker anyway. If we had ample amounts of tests, I don't blame anyone for wanting to get tested if they are ill and need the peace of mind.
  18. Could be sickness and then allergies piling on. Being sick that long is abnormal. May as well go attempt to get tested just to know. It will at least allow you to be on higher alert if things turn on you.
  19. Me too, brother. The poo sucks.
  20. Not surprised. Italy is going to continue to get smoked. The population is so incredibly old.
  21. Yeah, I have heard similar. No BS, I do agree about the inciting a panic stuff. I never thought I would be on that side of the opinion but the way people are freaking out, the less they know about the spread, the better.
  22. I believe in times like these, Moose Hoover may be our best hope.
  23. I'd be curious to know if they are doing many tests for the virus. I keep hearing people saying they aren't. I'd like to know if that is true. Or, what basis are they doing the testing on?
  24. I am weirdly in agreement with some of the government's position on the numbers. I do think we should be testing more people because that data is valuable but I do not think that the general public should get that information at all. They have already panicked at an extreme level and it is just going to make that issue worse.
