  1. We aren't even close to what the Bucs were prior to this past offseason. That team was absolutely loaded with talent and ready to win. Our roster is so far from that.
  2. Yeah, he may have his hands full putting this franchise back together after all this is done. Keep in mind that this could get a LOT worse depending on the coaching situation. If the rumor mill is correct and this is viewed as the worst HC job in the league, their top level choices may not be interested. So, now you have a roster with guys that want to leave, including one of the best young QB's in the league with a huge contract containing a no trade clause. Now pile on a less than stellar coach and a team not many guys that are trying to win are going to be interested in signing with in free agency. That team could quickly become the worst franchise in the NFL.
  3. Don't underestimate them overplaying their hand here. How often do we see terrible management make bad decisions in these situations and not be able to get maximum market value? We have to remember that if Watson basically tells a team or two that they are basically the destination or makes that publicly known, that immediately tanks the trade value for Watson. There will be no bidding war for him because he can veto anything. I honestly don't think the Texans will get the bounty that people are projecting them to. It's also possible that they decide to go nuclear option and let Watson rot on the bench for a year. They've already been dumb so far, so maybe they keep being dumb.
  4. I am not sure how attractive of a package we could put together for the Texans and a lot of that is going to depend on what coach they end up hiring. In terms of players we have with trade value to them, 1. Brian Burns 2. DJ Moore 3. CMC(behind Moore because of the contract and injuries) That's probably about it for high end value. Other than that, we will probably have to go pretty hard on draft capital and that is a dicey proposition. You have to weigh what a player of his caliber is worth(a tremendous amount) and what we have left to be able to build around him. It could be a big problem without the draft picks to build your roster for the next 2-3 years. Our new GM is going to have to absolutely knock it out of the park on all his free agent signings from that point on.
  5. Bingo. TBQH, I am not sure I would want to trade one completely hopeless rebuilding situation in Houston for a mildly more hopeful rebuilding situation in Carolina. Miami, the Pats, San Francisco all seem to fit the bill for winning situations. Perhaps the Colts? But, we also have to consider places he wants to live, how much the Texans are willing to trade him for, who they are willing to trade him to, etc. This is going to be a fascinating to watch transpire.
  6. I probably would put you on call block if I was the Texans. That is an atrocious trade.
  7. Toppling Goliath King Sue. A fuging classic.
  8. I mean.....M10 is a lot harder to locate than that. Maybe not at the same price point, though. Hard to find it sitting around at MSRP, I know that much.
  9. 1. Daily Drinker - Weller Special Reserve or Maker's Private Selection or Michter's Unblended 2. Impress your guests - George T. Stagg 3. Cheap Mixer - Buffalo Trace Store Pick 4. Friday Night Bourbon - Old Forester 1920 or Weller Antique 107 5. Special Occasion Bottle - Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Strength or Elijah Craig Barrel Proof
  10. Barrel does some good stuff but they are too overly proud of the product and price it accordingly. I think that is MGP sourced with some Kentucky distilled juice thrown in, as well. I'd be more inclined to trade for a sample or try it at a bar first. It isn't hard to get, I see it gathering dust all over the East Coast.
  11. One of the best shelf available bourbons around.
  12. That's what I want us to get, a guy that has the drive to be better on his own, without needing baby sitting from the franchise. Give me a kid from college that has his own throwing coaches throughout high school and college, puts in lots of time outside spring and fall camps practicing and perfecting his craft. That's the guy I want.
  13. It is called work ethic. Dwayne Haskins should try it.
  14. Does it hurt knowing Hurney was right and you weren't?
  15. I have been calling him Kyle Wilson for almost the entire season. I have no idea why that name is imprinted in my brain.
  16. Outliers are the best way to assess data. Every statistician knows that.
  17. Americans don't care about the "greater good." They care about what is the "greater good for themselves."
  18. Yeah, I see a lot of that up here in MI and OH. Some stores required masks and even sell $1 or $0.50 masks just so you can enter if you don't have one. But people will get butthurt and snooty about it.
