    More of them than not seem good but there aren't any trophies for winning offseasons. If we stink next season and most of these guys are gone(remember it is a lot of shorter term deals), then was it really a great offseason? Judging offseasons is really a hindsight task.

    Fair. Top 10 is almost a lock but top 5 could be dicey. Depends on how quickly things crumble on the field.

    Lol. Yeah, they can't fool me again. I see the problem and it's Rhule. The talent is irrelevant.

    If we are smart as a franchise, roll with Darnold/Walker. Don't waste resources on a mediocre QB in free agency/trade or a bad QB in the draft. We lose Rhule, we get a QB next draft and the battle is partially won. Assuming we don't hire another blithering idiot as head coach.

    Nah. Get this LT in the draft. We can get another top 5 pick in 2023 and we will be rid of the worst coach in the NFL. It's a win-win.

    I think we will be okay at QB. Another top 5 pick next year is extremely likely so we should eventually get one.

    Holy poo. I said I wasn't gonna get excited about a signing but this is one that got me. My God, use that 6th pick for a LT and that line is suddenly something. WOW

    He was going to make that money anyway, it was guaranteed as part of his 5th year. Make no mistake, it's a 3 year, $61 mil extension.

    I am just looking forward to the post-Rhule era. If we can somehow get a good coach, maybe Tepper's impulsive nonsense can get tempered. If not, I will just circle back when Tepper moves on.

    I also don't know that the coaches would agree that we were bad at run defense. Remember these guys live in a bubble and don't really see what the rest of the world does.

    We have no idea if those choices will be made or not. Chinn may stay at safety, YGM may stay a rotational guy. Just based on looking at the current roster, I suspect we will get worse on that side of that ball.

    We will probably go QB this draft, it will be a disaster and complete the full set of Panthers Tepper/Rhule terrible QB choices. I am pretty much expecting that. Or maybe we will double down on trading a shitload of draft capital for a QB like Jimmy G.

    Yeah and I remember similar sentiment with the Jones signing. At this point, I am not particularly excited about any signing until I see them play for us.

    I suspect we are gonna see an even worse run defense this season. The roster is very much shaping up that way.

    Keeping Darnold is gonna happen anyway, no one wants him. Getting Ryan would never happen, I doubt he wants to come to this dumpster fire and drafting Willis would only make sense with a quality veteran starter. It would make far, far less dense with a 6th round pick. More like a 2nd or 3rd round pick in that scenario. We aren't the team nor the scenario for Willis.
