  1. Sure if having a "possession" WR was a thing in most modern NFL offenses. We keep getting these outdated players. Most modern offenses are about creating space for an offensive player not throwing to a completely covered guy and hoping he makes a contested catch. That's fundamentally a lower percentage play. Not to mention, even if that was actually a valuable commodity, he isn't a good version of that archetype. Is it still POSSIBLE he pans put? Sure. Based on what I have seen, it seems highly improbable. Also, why would we think it's likely a guy taken from worst talent evaluation era in franchise history is going to pan out?
  2. You will see. Just like all the TMJ fanbois saw.
  3. Even without an obvious statistical comparison, Mingo is EXTREMELY obviously not an NFL caliber player. This isn't even a close one. He is an insane bust.
  4. Again, I watched the games. Mingo had maybe 2-4 impressive plays while playing about 89%(910 snaps) of the offensive snaps for the games he played. Compare that to TMJ's rookie campaign of 48%( 422 snaps) of offensive snaps. Also, Mingo's catch percentage is insanely low and his drops are high in comparison to TMJ. They both suck.
  5. Yeah this is basically the same BS people said about TMJ. The truth is, if you suck as badly as Mingo did as a rookie, you rarely pull out of that nosedive.
  6. I would say two stars(Brown and Luvu). We do have some very solid players here and there. Agreed, though, this is one of the least talented rosters we have ever fielded. The recent drafting history is largely to blame for that
  7. I hope we are just banned from trading for players for the next 3-4 seasons. Build through the draft. All that trading BS was mostly us pretending we were actually close to being good. If anything, we should be trading players away for draft picks.
  8. By watching him play games.
  9. I look at absolutely nothing he does and see anything other than backup level player. He has zero elite attributes. Frankly, he has more subpar attributes than above average ones.
  10. Dalton is probably going to be better in the short term than any of the 2nd round or later QB's. Dalton is insurance. A rookie QB is just freewheel gambling. I am okay with eithet scenario but it ultimately won't matter. Young is clearly the guy Tepper buys in to.
  11. If he truly was an elite processor he could thrive with good weapons. He will never be a Mahomes or Allen or Jackson. But he could be a Goff or Purdy(yes they have more overall arm talent). So his ceiling is elite game manager. The problem is that it turns out his floor isn't even NFL backup caliber. He better be doing a lot of soul searching. As much as we set him up for failure, he has a LOT of issues that he personally needs to recognize and correct
  12. Sure. Sounds like a winning idea but we will not do that. Watch. They are all in on this QB. Funny that as an investment banker Tepper is making a classic investor blunder in doubling down on a bad bet. But, I guess Young is just a "distressed asset." Too bad we aren’t getting any bailouts.
  13. I mean, no one should like it. But it just is what it is. Also, we had Young insurance last year. Andy Dalton. But, we used him one fuging game. That should tell you everything you need to know.
  14. The difference is that Matt Rhule had been and will always be a con man.
  15. This is a fantastic draft to snag a high potential 2nd or 3rd round pick QB but our draft capital is lower and our needs are insanely high. I doubt you see any investment in the QB. They are pot committed on Bryce. We will wait until we have to make a huge trade up again and in a far weaker draft.
  16. I will believe Tepper learned something when we start winning. Which will mean we start to see a LOT less of him in the public eye as he lets the football professionals deal with football. As long as he is the dumbest but most confident guy in your fantasy football league, he won't be successful.
  17. Mingo is an even bigger bust than TMJ. There is no amount of coaching that is going to fix him. The best thing for us is to bury him on the bench by signing and drafting much better players. NFL caliber players.
  18. Coaching can't fix having the least talented group of pass catchers in the NFL. That's not a Canales problem, that's a Dan Morgan problem. Not even our OL is as bad as this WR group.
  19. The mechanics can absolutely be fixed. The footwork can absolutely be fixed. Not 100% sure we can fix the most important part of the equation which is between his ears. The size or arm strength that people harp on, plenty of QB's in the NFL have lacked that and been successful. That just limits your overall ceiling. The hyper focus on that is retarded and it ignores a lot of bigger problems. Ultimately, I think a lot of this HC hire was the "fix Bryce" mentality. I suspect that will be wildly unsuccessful(as a strategy and in practice). The most critical component of fixing Bryce is himself. He has to realize his flaws and work to fix them. There are ample amounts of this coaching and expertise around. If he has any designs of this NFL career being more than a minute, he better be deep into his contacts and working on these flaws now.
  20. I know, I know. After all, what coach could possibly know better than David Tepper?
  21. I have a rather innovative solution for the Tepper Panthers.... maybe let your coach hire his guys instead of pushing people down his throat? Just a thought.
  22. fug them with every fuging last atom in the universe combined into an infinite dick.
  23. Lol. Announcers audibly upset by our lead.
  24. fug Marchand with a steel spiked pineapple covered in fresh AIDS blood.
