    I think Kupp is on the backside. Unless this is a value deal(we would have to overpay in that value range, obviously) it doesn't make a ton of sense. Seems like he would be a lot more interested in going to a contender than a team that is very unlikely to see the playoffs in the remainder of his career.

    Depends on the deal. There is a very small elite group so if one falls to you, grab them without hesitating. The 2nd tier group is quite big, however. Stretches from early 1st to almost the 3rd round. If you can snag multiple in that range, that's preferable to reaching at 8.

    Yeah, he does have some all time terrible takes on personnel decisions. I was okay with a reasonable deal until he flipped the switch and started blaming teammates. Then I knew it was get rid of him at all costs. Damn the price. And we did.

    Unfortunately for us the list of guys that need to be cut is too long so some will inevitably have to stay.
