  1. The truth is that is a valuable quality in a BACKUP not a starter. Furthermore, you need to actually be good at one of those positions for that to matter. This is what I kept harping on all offseason. Versatility is irrelevant if you AREN'T GOOD AT ANY OF THOSE POSITIONS. Being right about those two is so fuging INSANELY FRUSTRATING. I just cannot fathom how laymen like myself can fuging see this poo but these guys couldn't. fug it pisses me off so much.
  2. This was literally what so many of us said prior to the season. Not only suck, BUT CAN'T fuging STAY HEALTHY. Don't get me wrong, we made more good than bad moves in the offseason but fug me running, those two were so obviously bad.
  3. I actually was. They have stunk from game one onward. We just have more competent opponents with better film on us. Also, our shitty starters have been replaced by more shittu starters. As for Sam, yeah, we are seeing Jets Darnold now. But, we also have been giving him a Jets quality OL. It's possible he is salvageable as the guy until we get the guy but not trotting out bottom 5 OL's. We always say that any QB wouldn't be successful behind this OL but Sam Darnold has 3+ years of proving he is basically the worst QB in the NFL behind a bottom 5 OL. That is why it was so mind boggling when we were clearly assembling a bottom 5 OL. I mean....CLEARLY
  4. Yep. I hated him from that moment onward. I couldn't possibly care less about the flag thing.
  5. TBH, I don't think there is a "much better" version of the OL waiting for us, no matter the moves we make.
  6. I think the odds of a trade windfall are slim. Fitt seemed to indicate that. I would rather not overpay for a guy when we still need 4-6 more guys to shore that line up.
  7. Let's be completely clear on the OL, there isn't likely to be a silver bullet combination that is going to make us suddenly competitive or elite. This is likely just a "least bad" venture.
  8. To be fair...7 winning seasons in 27. The OG Hornets and OG Hurricanes were monsters at times during their successful(or initial) runs. The support can be there if we build consistent success.
  9. Do you want to be Eagles/Raiders fan hostile, though? Not sure that is something I would like either.
  10. Honestly, there is so much chickenshit on this OL, I am not sure the best way to make chicken salad from it. I will leave that to the staff. I don't envy them in this endeavor.
  11. I don't think Sam Howell would have any better success behind this OL. Probably far less.
  12. Yeah, I wouldn't mind at least seeing Brady at LT. TBH...not sure it will matter with the sieve we have in the interior of the OL.
  13. IDK that I agree with that, nor do I agree that CMC might cure all our ails. We have 12 more games to figure all that out.
  14. The truth is likely somewhere in between. We aren't an undefeated NFL team nor are we as bad as 0-2 versus the NFC East.
  15. Sort of like the OL, I think they were fully in on Darnold and thought they had made the right move. I am willing to bet they didn't even attempt to get Minshew.
  16. 1000% agree but I will say I don't know if our results would be drastically different with this OL.
  17. Yeah but that mistake shouldn't have broken our backs like that. The offense mustered a measly 3 points and less than 150 yards after the half. We have to do better than that.
  18. Let's at least give this, we have a coaching staff that at least recognizes their own shortcomings. It's on them to correct those but remember the previous two HC'S and how quick they were to deflect blame.
  19. We can revisit this in Week 8-9. Some of this was correctable so we will see if they can. The OL and QB play may not be so we will see what can be done about that.
