  1. Agreed. The Jalen Ramsey's are the exception and not the rule. Is it possible he becomes a lock down corner in year one? Yes but it is unlikely. My expectation is that by his third season he is a top 10 CB in the NFL(if not top 5). That is a very fair expectation, IMO.
  2. Mirrors what our own fans think, TBH. Wide variance. Just too many unknowns to get much consensus.
  3. Yeah but even Brady took losses with pressure up the middle consistently. There is only so much you can scheme if you are bad. The Pats also didn't have bad OL's very often.
  4. The issue with this is that we seem to think scheme and offensive talent can make up for OL deficiencies. That's typically untrue. Teddy and the scheme masked a lot of issues with OL last season. We will see how it works out this season.
  5. Well, hard to mold a sculpture out of a wet poo. I tend to believe the problem isn't coaching but talent.
  6. Let's not turn this thread into another idiotic pissing match with anti-vaxxers. My intent is to highlight the competitive advantages of being fully vaccinated and the fact that two of our divisional rivals are going to have that.. The other "real world" aspects of COVID, vaccines, etc have been hashed out dozens of times in here and then the threads summarily sent to the TB or locked. Why don't we just focus on the FOOTBALL aspects of the subject, since the rest of those issues have been beaten to death.
  7. So close.... So if Miller is one, who is the other?
  8. Arians offense tends to lead to QB TO's. Even Tom Brady struggled with that. That was probably the worst coach in the league you could have paired with someone like Winston.
  9. He is vaccinated, I believe. Pretty sure that was previously reported.
  10. Has to be higher end players for then to still be around, I would think. Cannot imagine any PS guys are in that group.
  11. It's also possible that our team(or other teams) may be at 100% but just not saying it publicly. Probably not likely but possible.
  12. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32133726/tampa-bay-buccaneers-coach-bruce-arians-says-entire-organization-vaccinated-covid-19 ....is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is after our other divisional rival(Atlanta) was the first NFL team to reach 100%. Think we will hit 100% during the season? Or will we hit 100% before the Saints, at least? Interesting that NFC South teams are the first to start achieving this goal.
  13. What are the best products to combat swamp ass during an early season game?
  14. Remember, Houston has that Nick Caserio dude from NE now. They might be one of the more difficult teams to make a deal with. Look at the Watson situation. Washington....eh....maybe. I don't think they need a LB like Shaq, though.
  15. Yeah, but you realize most of the league's gunslingers are in the 28-35 group, right?
  16. 62% seems low but he is a gunslinger. It's unlikely he will ever be a Teddy/Brees/ rady-like completion percentage guy. Even in this offense. 60-63% for a true gunslinger is actually not too bad.
  17. Disappointed they didn't roll with Taysom The Golden Calf of Bristol. That was a surefire sweep. Winston I am much less confident about. If he can cut down on his TO's.....he might be rough to face. I would hate to see them go straight into another era of good to great QB play. Then the media will be blowing Sean Payton even more.
  18. Yeah, but why in the world would anyone make that trade? Bill O'Brien is gone. The only one I can think that might be that dumb is Urban Meyer.
  19. Why would be trade the best player in one of our weakest positions? I don't think we are going to make any player trades that are for much other than picks. Or, the players we would trade certainly wouldn't garner much in return.
