    Taking a QB in the top 10 of an extremely weak QB class would be the most Panthers move ever. @stbugs is right. We just keep doing this poo to ourselves, year after year.

    The Notre Dame TV deal used to be the envy of the football world but now it nets them less than the ACC TV deal payout does on an annual basis. I think it is inevitable they join somewhere eventually. The current climate isn't kind to independents.

    Nah. They basically got their nuts snipped in recent events. College football runs itself. The NFL isn't gonna be happy about this but NFL coaching salaries are going to have to adjust accordingly. Rhule's contract isn't gonna look like poo in 3 years, I suspect.

    I think the running is more of a this year thing. He wasn't this run heavy his previous two seasons. I think he will dial that back in the NFL. That or his career will be pretty short. He is a stocky guy but that kind of running will get you killed at the next level.

    Seems like more and more have Howell as a 2nd round pick or later. IMO, he has a higher probability of ending up a successful NFL QB sitting a couple of seasons to work out the kinks. It does suck we don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick. I wouldn't mind taking a shot at a better depth/developmental QB there.

    Yeah, I blame very little of our current predicament on any player, even Darnold. Matt Rhule has done this to all of us. Players and fans alike.

    McNair, Josh Allen, even Big Ben. Eventually you have to transform your game just for the sake of longevity. Look no further than the career of NFL running backs. That is a ton of punishment to absorb to be a bruising runner. I still have some fleeting hope Cam can resurrect his career to be a top 15 NFL QB. Admittedly that looks less and less likely as time passes.

    It was the combination of various factors but I agree that they had a much better situation in Tampa than we had. I don't think Brady would have followed Joe Judge either.

    Don't use Rhule as a bar for good coaching. You can accidentally trip over that bar.

    I think Brady basically got to pick where he wanted to go and it wasn't like a QB-less team was gonna say no. Arians is not a great coach. Not a terrible coach but some pretty big flaws and mainly regarding QB's. Brady solved his biggest weakness.
