Marshall's catch percentage is kind of middling but I attribute that to the QB more than anything. I like him as a prospect but in hindsight I would easily have trade him out for OL help. He just seemed like a luxury pick at the time and even more so now. I hope Tremble ultimately becomes what everyone thought Thomas was going to be. He is really, really raw so I hope we develop him properly. His ceiling is very high. Free agency is going to be critical to our next offseason because we only have one Day 1 or 2 pick in the 2022 draft. IMO, we need to get AT LEAST one quality starting offensive lineman in the 2022 offseason. With a first round pick, that should be easy. Ideally, we land one more in free agency and now you suddenly have three competent linemen. That at least gives us something to build on. Land an actual NFL starting QB(not even high level, just a mid level) and we have something we can work with on that side of the ball in 2022.

I would like to say Horn and I love him as a prospect but he really did only play 3 games. Marshall is a TBD, he has been far less productive than I thought but he also has one of the worst QB's in the NFL, so I can't blame him completely. Tremble has great potential and he isn't a pick I liked. TBD, though. We need to see if he develops. Chubba I forgot about. He is a hit for sure. Valuable #2. Nixon and Taylor are the two biggest wins because they are late picks and even contributing at a reasonable level is exceptional. Unless they get derailed for some reason, those look like successes.

I mean, even though I like Slater over Horn it's way too early to make any definitive statements about the draft in general. I think we may have done well in the draft but it's too early to say. Taylor looks like a winner, based on his round drafted. Other than that, TBD. Nixon had potential before the injury. Still lots of potential misses though.

And it will cure all the bitching, moaning and complaining that people unironically bitch, moan and complain about. Give us two straight fuging winning seasons, and watch how much nicer this place will be. Watch how much easier free agency will be. How is anyone excited about tanking for *insert player*? That poo is not fun.

How you made these logical leaps through this thread is amazing. Bravo.

Erving's "effort" on the play that got Sam hurt

You aren't a fan of this franchise and you know that you aren't a fan of this franchise. 90+% of your posts literally directly relate to your ex-players, Sam and Robby. If you are here in 4 years and know anything about this team, I'll be stunned. So, prove me right or wrong. It's your choice. -

That's a pretty small portion of the fans. Typically that works on kids but not adults. Player surfers just surf to the next spot with their player or they find another player to surf with. You build your fan base by winning or existing in the community for decades, so that loyalty is generations deep. -
This is just a super weird hill to die on. The "THESE fuging YOUNG PEOPLE" and "WELL THEY DON'T DO IT THE WAY I AM USED TO" rants are just comical. Every generation of old people say that same poo with zero sense of self awareness.
-
Dude, that has existed for the entire existence of professional sports. fug, that has existed for the entire existence of currency. Some people get what they want and then they rest on their laurels. That isn't evidence of some mass generational issue. Did you not see the videos of Jaycee Horn working out all offseason with other NFL DB's? Did you not hear about Daniel Jones going to the Manning camps to get better? This poo is no different than anywhere else. Some suck at their jobs and don't give a poo, some are amazing and strive to the best and the rest are somewhere in between.

No one made you into a troll, you decided to be a troll. Arguing PJ vs. Sam is just sad. Sad for you and even more sad for the franchise. Here is a real question, what are you going to do with your time when PJ Walker isn't on the roster anymore(likely next offseason)?
-
Yeah, that's a little more "old man yells at the sky" kind of stuff. I don't think that has much to do with it at all. You are also talking about recreational sports versus competitive sports. Go watch some 6-17 year olds play AAU sports. That is a completely different world.
-
Dude, they are both trash. PJ is just here because our coach has a boner for his ex-players. He didn't get on this team by being worthy of it. There is absolutely zero reason to defend Sam Darnold, he's fuging terrible and was a massive mistake to bring in. There is absolutely zero reason to defend PJ Walker, he's fuging terrible and isn't worthy of a roster spot. Stop defending and pushing the PJ Walker thing, it's annoying. It was funny at first but funny things aren't funny when they are super, super repetitive. That's literally Comedy 101.

Mathieu isn't wrong. Fans are more toxic these days because people are more toxic. That is directly tied to these social media platforms that they all participate in. That is the reason why more and more famous people(and not enough regular people) are getting off these things. Because they are inherently toxic and breed toxicity.

"Just shut up and play" is just as dumb as "just shut up and watch." It doesn't help that he put that out on the platform that he was most likely getting trolled on. They are just going to double down now that they know it gets to him.
