I am not saying to ignore other needs or BPA but how in the world you don't go heavy OL in 2022+ is beyond me. fug me running...how is this not the most obvious and most critical need? There is literally nothing to build on in the two deep other than Moton. Nothing.

It is a shame to waste a dominant defense on this offense. Darnold is not the guy for us long term but fug me running who could be successful behind this dumpster fire of an OL. I cannot recall the dolts that defended the offseason OL moves but you should be embarrassed by that take. This may be the worst OL this franchise has ever fielded. It is sickening, given how good the rest of the roster is.

It isn't foolish, it's smart. Quality OL are rarer and rarer, hence why we have been able to trade for two great CB's but can't get a single team to bite on even a backup OL(according to our GM). OL is the single and sole focus of the next offseason. Even over QB, which is clearly a weak point too. I haven't seen many OL's worse than this in the NFL, much less in franchise history.

Well Trubisky was a VASTLY more accurate college passer than Howell has been. Howell‘s best season of accuracy is basically Trubisky's career average.

I think the only lack of need on the OL is RT(Moton). We need to focus on improving the line with a push to make it dominant by 2024ish. Make no mistake, that unit will need multiple offseasons to get vastly better.

The more I see Howell, the more I see Trubisky. Just a hot and cold gunslinger. I think we see a small school or G5 QB go first in the draft.

It's early though, it's possible some guys start flying up the charts as the season progresses.

I am not sure I even have that hope. I just hope we see improvement. Any improvement is better than nothing.

QB's will be overdrafted anyway. I hope we can land a top shelf OT or IOL. That is our big need.

It is early but this 2022 QB class looks like it may not have a surefire 1st round pick in it. Let's hope Darnold is the guy. If he is, our future is so, so, so bright.

Yeah. We had more than one good OL on that unit. We have only one good OL on this unit. And it gets worse the further down the bench we go.

Anyone defending this OL all year needs to examine their intellectual ability. It was so obvious the entire time. We are lucky it took 4 games for it to get us.
