Visitor hospitality at our stadium...
kungfoodude replied to Mayor Qumiby's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be fair...7 winning seasons in 27. The OG Hornets and OG Hurricanes were monsters at times during their successful(or initial) runs. The support can be there if we build consistent success.- 64 replies

Do you want to be Eagles/Raiders fan hostile, though? Not sure that is something I would like either.- 64 replies

Very Discouraged By Rhule and His Comments After the Game
kungfoodude replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think Sam Howell would have any better success behind this OL. Probably far less. -
IDK that I agree with that, nor do I agree that CMC might cure all our ails. We have 12 more games to figure all that out.
-
The truth is likely somewhere in between. We aren't an undefeated NFL team nor are we as bad as 0-2 versus the NFC East.
-
Sort of like the OL, I think they were fully in on Darnold and thought they had made the right move. I am willing to bet they didn't even attempt to get Minshew.
-
1000% agree but I will say I don't know if our results would be drastically different with this OL.
-
Yeah but that mistake shouldn't have broken our backs like that. The offense mustered a measly 3 points and less than 150 yards after the half. We have to do better than that.

Let's at least give this, we have a coaching staff that at least recognizes their own shortcomings. It's on them to correct those but remember the previous two HC'S and how quick they were to deflect blame. -
We can revisit this in Week 8-9. Some of this was correctable so we will see if they can. The OL and QB play may not be so we will see what can be done about that.
-
That's sort of what I mean. I didn't really feel like offensive play calling lost us the game. I feel like offensive execution did. Untimely penalties, drops, Darnold's missed throws/back breaking INT's and atrocious OL play. Not trying to absolve Brady of some of the blame, but he was a minority issue on that side of the ball, IMO.
-
Yeah, he was really off all day. I think he is starting to break down with that OL wilting constantly.
-
Yeah, I mean....you aren't wrong. I am definitely not annointing the team anything. I just like what we have to work with quite a bit.
-
The entire defense(save some lack of depth at LB). WR, RB.... We have ample enough talent to win a game like this. We just have to execute and shore up that pitiful OL.
-
It wasn't a complete shitshow. Dare I say it.....missed opportunities?
-
Agreed. I think we are seeing that his ceiling is much lower than they had hoped. Still, if we build a competent OL, he can be the guy until we find the guy.
-

I really don't see how you don't.
