  1. If so, it is likely someone from one of the prospective teams, the Texans or Watson's camp trying to get this stirred up. To my core, I literally don't understand why the Texans would suddenly want to get this deal done by the trade deadline.
  2. I probably would have had him ahead of Jones but I also didn't like Jones as a prospect and would never have taken him in the 1st. He was a 2nd rounder to me. The early returns say that was wrong. But, Jones has far more polish than Howell. I tend to think Howell's talent level is higher. Both have average arms and really pretty deep balls.
  3. Lol. Okay, so she is lying. Why do you read her posts? Are you aware of the "Ignore" feature? Because for those that don't believe she is lying, we are getting a little tired of your weird hysterics.
  4. Well, he doesn't want to play for the Texans and he isn't budging. Plus you have this legal matter that is a PR nightmare. At some point you just cut your losses and that appears to be where the Texans are at.
  5. I don't even know I would throw sleezy at him necessarily. He is in the fetish world so there can be some gray areas with that. If you have ever had sex with the woman that wants....rougher than normal sex, that is a good example. My reaction to the, "Hit me!" comment is pretty much to immediately shut down and remove myself as politely as I can. I don't trust ANY woman with that fetish, as judgemental as that may be. Similarly for Watson, if you have the fetish, there are actual places that specifically do that. There are escorts and hookers and rub and tugs....go there. Don't gamble with women in real life because you might find out they aren't into your fetish. But, yeah, I would rather have it all handled before so we don't have to deal with with fuging circus around it. That is why the Texans are comfortable paying Watson to stay away. They don't want to deal with it either.
  6. I don't disagree at all but there is a chance(although remote and one I don't personally think is terribly likely) he is innocent. In that case, I would fight too. In reality, he is probably just listening to his lawyers advice, regardless of the facts.
  7. We have no idea what is what. Maybe the legal issues pass, maybe he is out of the league forever. Maybe the price is insane and we get to see Sean Gilbert 2.0 or the Hershel Walker trade or the Ricky Williams trade. Or maybe the price is reasonable and we become contenders for a long time. We don't know anything because nothing has happened. People are largely breaking down something that hasn't happened and my not happen and drawing these crazy lines in the sand. I want him under certain conditions. That is my stance.
  8. SHE is getting them up??? So....for sure none of the other sports media are too, huh? Just her? Riiiiight.
  9. He had said he did nothing wrong and he is maintaining that stance. From a legal perspective, I can understand why that is happening. Now, if he comes clean after this is all done and says, "Hey, I got caught up in this fetish and I went further than I should have." That is where people are usually forgiving. Mike Vick was able to do that and he seemed sincere about his change. We will see how that all unfolds.
  10. Lol...why? Explain what harm she is doing by passing along inside info, whether accurate, speculative or wrong?
  11. Lol. I am not that down on the move. My personal opinion is that I don't know anything about the facts and I don't believe anything any of the accused and accusers have to say. I wasn't there and I don't know what their motivations nor the facts, nor will I likely ever know them. If I had to guess, the manner in which it is playing out suggests there is a lot of sleaze on both sides of this one, so the truth is somewhere in the middle. Probably a dude that is addicted to his sexual fetish with plenty of willing women to go along, so he ends up going to far with more than one that wasn't up for it. I suspect there are a lot of skeezy people involved(Watson included) and a couple of honest people who have been genuinely harmed. But you know what.....my opinion is just that. It has no bearing on anything.
  12. I have news for you, we have very little draft capital in 2022 and if we trade for Watson, it will all be gone. There would be zero benefit to tanking in that scenario.
  13. She is just a conduit for a source, basically. Holding her accountable for second or third hand information is a little goofy.
  14. But it could also be the thing that makes us contenders for years to come. It's a gamble, no doubt about it.
  15. I don't think you are going to get anyone in the organization to agree to that. They all want to win as quickly as possible. You might see him sit for a game or two as he learns the playbook but I think that is about it.
  16. The PR will be terrible but he isn't likely a candidate for the commissioner's exempt list based on a civil matter. Supposedly, they have no plan to put him on the exempt list if he is traded.
  17. Well, the difference being that was the first player Jordan had ever drafted that wasn't a bust. Then he resumed ruining the building by continuing to suck royally at player evaluation. See Hayward, Gordon for the current example.
  18. RB? Tony DeAngelo of the Hurricanes. Might want to do a little research about his past. Not at the level of what Watson is but definitely not a good look. Now, that said, he publicly has been remorseful, has a REAL cheap salary(low risk) and he has been playing well for us.
  19. I think the issue with Paradis is that the majority of the time he is actually holding his blocks fairly well but when he fails.....my God he fails so hard.
  20. Eh.....I mean....I am sure they might have done some amount of digging around but Tepper seems to be pretty much in on the "win now" mode, so I am not sure that his virtues outweigh his bottom line. After all....he is a hedge fund billionaire. Ironically, the previous owner was all about not signing guys with character issues but look what skeletons were in his closet.....
  21. I agree with what the coaches said prior to the season about Chinn. His future is probably at safety so better just let him get comfortable and get reps at safety. I was on record as saying I thought he would probably struggle this season and I am okay with that. If he is an elite S in 1-3 seasons, the lumps were well worth it.
